had not heard of Heavenward prior to this thread, but that shit is where it's at. sounds like the Teenage Wrist i got super into, and not this new version that made that lame ass Earth is a Black Hole single.

The original singer started a new band called Heavenward which sounds like old Teenage Wrist....because it is old Teenage Wrist.....the guitarist who's now the singer of TW plays guitar in Heavenward lol Makes no sense but the two Heavenward singles rule.

One listen and I already know this is my favorite Nothing record. Reminds me most of “Downward Years to Come.” Loved every goddamn second.

I was only along for the ride for FoH, who don't even have merch for this show, so /shrug I guess.  I could see springing $10 just to see what it's like for people on the fence, but I'd rather just buy a record if I'm gonna drop nearly 20 bucks.

I super disagree with all of this. Not only is Josh a founding member, he hasn’t released anything really (bedsides maybe a single digitally) to be “profiting” from it. You said it yourself.
 
Also this single sounds very TTA, and picks up right where “Immolate Yourself” left off. They (I say “they” because Cooper also wrote Immolate) haven’t sounded like they did during “FFE” in years. This new track captures the new direction they were going perfectly imo.

Also seems you're reading a bit into him still using the name. It could just be in honor of his highschool friend that he started a band with... the name and band has always been half his, so, sounds like he's free to do with the name what he wants. /shrug

Ordered. Loved “I like it when you sleep” and all 3 of their new singles have been super solid. Can’t get enough of “Love it if we made it.”  

I think I'm the only one that fux with this mix. They did it this way so you can turn the volume way the fuck up and not have it go from nice crisp sounding to garbage. Just garbage the whole time but great garbage that doesn't distort at max volume.
 
I did enjoy seeing "pixelated" refer to audio though  gonna steal that.
