None taken. They're definitely just a "generic pop rock band" but the blue album was all over local radio when I was kid, then Hash Pipe came out when I was really into skateboarding and weed at like 14 or 16. So, I connected. To each his own. I'm not buying new Weezer or anything (actually I did pay like $2 for the black album).

Guys. I've seen a lot of this lately. And thought to myself : "Man, why are people just going to threads of bands they, to their own right, do not like at all, and commenting about how much they do not like said band? It must be super fun or satisfying in some way. So, as the natural born 'follower' or 'easily influenced' person that I am, will be conducting an experiment by going to as many threads as possible and dissing the band. the ultimate HOBBY trade. anyone willing to do this collects vinyl purely for aesthetics, as the Plain pressing is one of the worst sounding records ever pressed and the Kevin Shields AAA pressing is legitimately one of the best. you should just sell this on discogs and use that money to buy the other.

I would say it's good you played the original years ago so you could experience the ambiance and mood when it first came out. So, I would say definitely pick up the I + II collection to help get into the saga. The sequel is a very fun game and refines the Shenmue experience. And Sega did a great job porting the collection over with the game save carryover from Shenmue to Shenmue 2 intact. North American Shenmue fans were denied that functionality because the idiot Peter Moore made a deal for Shenmue II to appear exclusively on the Xbox in the US. Plus the collection is usually pretty cheap. Both games are also easy Platinums. And with Shenmue III, I thourohly loved the game. Yu Suzuki managed to keep the same feel and spirit of Shenmue in the third all of these years later. 

Oh, wow! Heard this album the day it dropped and didn't know you had a hand in it. My buddy and I agreed that it sounds like a new, energetic TVOTR. So damn good! Congrats! I missed the previous variants. Would kill to get a copy without having to wait for this December pressing.

Good thing they are repressing that quick! $80 was a pretty steep tag on this bad boy! Between the anxious-as-hell-to-get-this-remaster and me.
