Excited about this.  So Young, So Insane was what got me into YMAEWK.  Any plans to press I Wish More People Gave a Shit?  I think that's my favorite release of theirs.

I don't like listening to this album on vinyl because the side split is between "Make Out Kids" and "Time Turned Fragile," which ruins the spectacular transition between those songs.

I liked that record in junior high, but I don't think I ever want to hear it again. Their music did not age well at all.

Hostage Calm and My Heart To Joy played my friend's house while I was in high school. I didn't go and I've regretted it ever since. Super bummed about this whole situation, and if there's a farewell show, I'll absolutely travel for it.

I love the "bitter dinosaur" part. That whole pre-chorus is perfect pop punk in my eyes. But yeah, the "felt emptiness like the taste of a flat soda" line is awful.

I'm 99% sure I saw a tweet or Instagram post saying the album would be played in full.

Aficionado LP for $3.50. Anyone who passes that up is actually stupid.

I don't understand what's strange about pressing the new record from an established and, in my opinion at least, excellent band. This isn't a cash grab reissue of something readily available in used bins or a greatest hits album or whatever. It's exactly what should be getting pressed, and it's only $15.

Came for the Turnover, stayed for the $8.00 Spitalfield LPs. Such a great deal.
 
PS: I don't know what changed in the Turnover camp between Magnolia (which I didn't care for at all) and this session, but they seriously upped their game. "I Would Hate You If I Could" and the track released today are by far their best work.

I'm more interested in the process you had to go through to buy/fix equipment to make these than I could ever be in a FFTL record. Still, the idea of getting one-offs of my and my friends' old bands could be cool.

Joie de Vivre - We're All Better Than This.

Sherwood and Waking Ashland would have been such a great show. I loved WA, and while We Shot The Moon has some good stuff, only a couple songs really measure up to the WA catalog for me.

If they're doing shows, I'll fly anywhere in the US to see them. I've basically had a blank check made out to "Mineral reunion" ever since I first heard The Power of Failing.
