Played one of my tariff variants side B, which has some of my favorite tracks on the album, and had some sibilance / IGD. The red target copy actually sounded a better on those tracks. YMMV I suppose. I may crack open another tswift variant to check it out. im also curious if the meet me behind the mall version off her website has the same gatefold artwork as the target copy. Can anyone confirm

Really dont want to pay $100 for the missing variant off discogs, I'm sure its a long shot but if anyone's got the tswift.com meet me behind the mall, HMU. Otherwise, got the whole set sans the In the Trees which understandably has a longer turnaround.

I'm not even sure which of my variants is titled what lol. Got all of them delivered today except the "OG In the Trees?" I also don't have a not target copy of #3... since she didn't release it for black friday...

In the event that no one has stated this yet, I will: I played one of my variants that wasn't the Target exclusive, and it sounds better / nicer. The degree of "cheapness" (some have said they've heard sibilance etc) that comes with a Target pressed bright red vinyl is absent.

RSD 1989 gets the shit gouged out of it. I believe Fearless is slightly more reasonable. Been a few weeks since I've looked, though.

Got my hide and seek and in the weeds today... don't really even want to open them, but I will have to at some point. Probably just slit the shrink and slide the records out the gatefold

For my own opinions based on the covers ONLY... Betty's Garden or OG in the trees. I'm sure they'll have some better sound quality than the Target exclusive which i'd give a 3/5 in sound quality...

Finally got my email. 15 mp3 files, a 500x500 album art, and the digital booklet. which is nice, but the other stuff is a bum for $10. on the final track right now and justin vernon is still godly. this one sounds like it could have closed folklore, too. the iphone case is for 12 pro too, but how much more am i actually going to drop on taylor this year? fucking yikes and the burning question: how many of these felt like they belonged square on folklore and how many could have been throwaways? if someone wants to release a double album bad enough they'll do it, but when RHCP did, they literally said "Here's the tracks. make your own record." which is a good thought imo.

If not for "In the trees" which variant do you think is a better cover for the album? The choice is obviously Betty's Garden IMO, if not Stolen Lullabies Also, the variants have been given another week in her merch store. Probably trying to sell them all before they start shipping... Swiped up the signed CD, too... I may be a noob to this sort of thing but there's no way that thing's REALLY signed, right? She'd have to sign literally a few million if not more...

I’d rather be a list maker than someone who gets bent out of shape at list makers. My Red tour seats were basically as far away as you could get, nosebleeds and then some. 1989 was a different story, lowest seat in the balcony; much nicer show.

They're not being nice saying "Shut it" "Shut up" and "Shut ya mouths" when other people are having friendly discussion talking about things they don't want them to, and saying "I don't want to be a dick" doesn't change anything either. Discussing an artist's catalogue in a thread about their latest release isn't out of line, and DEFINITELY doesn't compare to "Posting baby pictures" or making anything else about themselves. It's just people who like to piss on other people's parades, to try and police public forums, or are so sensitive that seeing album ranking lists ruins their entire day. As far as Kanye goes in this thread, at least two people in here (Taylor fans no doubt) either have Kanye related sigs or referenced Kanye before in the thread. I recognized that things were getting off track and that I contributed to it by making a Kanye list which turned discussion away, so I tried to put it back on Taylor, and someone said to shut my mouth. I'll respond in kind. AS FAR AS TAYLOR GOES has anyone else received their records in large boxes with no cushioning material whatsoever? Who else picked up the rest of the variants due to the black friday promotion?
