I was finding it hard to believe that Brand New and PMT would intentionally be coy regarding, well, anything. They're adults with lives; they don't have time to think about toying with fans, much less put it into execution. I am now 110% convinced they think this shit is cute as fuck.

I've purchased two records in the past year and a half. I can really see a difference, especially in how easy it is to save for trips now. It's just getting harder for me to justify a $25-$30 purchase for a medium that's confined to my home. I could sell 85% of my collection and not be hurt about it, but I'm too lazy.

Outgrown Things has been in heavy rotation for me for the past six months. I would highly recommend anyone check them out if they have not heard of them.

The best part is reddit actually believes that PMT! is receiving direct orders from Brand New to fuck with us with these CD's. Roughly 180 have been logged and adding a cushion for those who do not use reddit/VC or those who chose not to update the doc; that probably leaves ~half accounted for. That means, shocker, half may not have been mailed out yet. I did read somewhere Zach(k?) confirmed all CD's were sent, but I saw no source for that. The real philosophical question here is why do we care about a compact disc?

Since I've signed up I've received a record, a small package that fit in the mailbox, and a couple pieces of mail. Zero of it showed up in myUSPS. I don't think I understand what myUSPS is.

I keep listening to it hoping the songs will start to separate, but it’s one big blob of dreamy beach tunes with lackluster lyrics. It’s not BAD, at all, but I’m having a hard time with this one.

I think this might be my favorite, as well. I'm becoming less worried about getting burned out. I have listened to all their albums since this was released, and I still love them as much as I did when they were released.

I find it equally amusing and irritating that those of us who spent the most have the least amount of information (zero.)

I joined myUSPS a few days after the CDs started to arrive so I’m not sure if that changes anything, but my Turnover record did not appear in my dashboard until I manually entered it in almost two weeks after the label was created. A lot of those who did get their CD had no appearance on their dashboard, also. I’m holding onto my hope. It keeps me warm at night.

I am having to force myself to play other albums in between listens of SF. If I set this on repeat, I will never stop. There is is not a single song I don’t like. After 10+ listens, Lit Me Up may be my favorite, but I still can’t even chose confidently. edit: in retrospect, it’s been far more than 10 plays.
