  1. Also, I would not recommend ION brand turntables, as they have very unreliable belt drives. That could very well be your issue if you're hearing changes in speed.
  2. I haven't noticed any warbliness and I have almost all of Captured Tracks releases. What kind of turntable do you have? If it's a Crosley or other low-end brand, I would look into replacing it. Go with something like an Audio Technica, Stanton or Numark. Definitely get one that has a counterweight.
  3. My bundle came in today. No glittery custom sleeve for the 7", but it's still on colored vinyl.
  4. Says the guy with the A Day To Remember sig & all of these are out of press, and are worth about 12x's what I paid for them.
  5. The leading on it is horrible. You might get away with putting a sans serif that close together, but with a script typeface like that it's just stupid.
  6. Yeah, at least it's Amazon. They're probably the best company to deal with when it comes to returns.
  7. Stoked for this. Was able to get one of the /200 coke bottle/brown releases of In Motion.
  8. Got my shipping notification on the 14th. Also note, if you paid with PayPal, the shipping notification will go to whatever email you have your PayPal registered to.
  9. Solid album. Worth picking up the LTD edition if you have the chance. Definitely put in a lot of effort planning out the die-cutting + posters.
  10. Really disappointed with both the singles that have been released from this album. Also, to shanerockey, entirely unlikely you'll find a limited pressing of this or any Strokes album. The only one I can think of that was released on a limited run was Angles on clear vinyl.
  11. Lol. I saw them live at the Tabernacle in ATL back in 2009, and fortunately Johnny Marr decided he was unable to make an appearance. That was probably the most over-crowded show I have ever been to, not to mention the obnoxious people that were trying to start a mosh pit
  12. Lol. Hopefully it's actually on yellow vinyl, considering it says yellow vinyl in the "editorial reviews" section, and not in the product description.
  13. Ordered the bundle with the 7". Hopefully they both come on colored vinyl.
  14. Managed to snag a copy of this after the server recovered from the crash. Awaiting its arrival, should be early this week. I'm glad to see that more people are getting into Beach Fossils.
  15. Yeah. I just happened to stumble up on that site and decided to pick up the repressings on colored vinyl. Sold my black copies to even out the cost. I already had the violet version of High Violet though from back when it was released. Spent too much on it because it was only available via import at the time, but it was still worth it.
  16. Pre-ordered the box set from http://spincds.com/ when they still had it in stock. Totaled out to around $70 with shipping, which I was able to justify easier than the $90+ cost from the bands site. Should hopefully be here this week. Any of the alternate retailers that are selling it for $70 total or less, I would say its worth picking up. The album is solid and for what it comes with, it's priced pretty appropriately.
  17. Pre-ordered for the white vinyl. I figure it's going to be at least a decent album. & I agree with everyone else on the type setting for the album name being heinous. Definitely need to fire whoever came up with that idea.
  18. I'll be at the ATL show. Stoked it's at the Drunken Unicorn instead of the Tabernacle or Masquerade. Saw them in Athens at 40 Watt when they toured with Best Coast & No Joy. Good show.
  19. I believe they also have the violet colored version of High Violet in stock.
  20. I picked up Boxer on yellow vinyl and Alligator on green vinyl from Siren Disc mid-last year. Pretty sure they have a good stock of them: http://www.sirendisc.com/cgi/panel.cgi/?usr_str=The%20National&usr_type=usr_act
