RSD is the street date. Their distributor would not sell them to us for RSD because we did not sign a pledge in advance, despite the fact we obviously HAVE an actual record store, haha. We may get some copies in late April if there are any leftover after baseball card day, I mean comic book day, I mean beanie baby day, I mean pog day, I mean RSD. I'll post here if we do.

Next time we do something like this I might just press a record that is exclusive to the bags. I sincerely had not considered how many people would join in! The funny thing is that once I started assembling the LP bags I realized just how crazy this deal was... And how in love with all these records I still am. There are stories inside all of them for me. Someday I need to start telling them! Well, maybe not ALL of them, haha!

I put together the last set! This is all the LP bags, minus a fair amount that already shipped today.

The upside of all of this, besides awesome music that I love getting into the ears of a mess o people in a hurry, which is making me very happy: we now have a little room on the shelves to put more new records. Yeah!

Merely the thought of the soundtrack to BR makes me drowsy. Not that it is bad, it's a memory reflax becasue every time I watched the movie (outside of the original theatrical run) it was at like 3 in the morning. Sleepy by association. Amazg movie, especially the version with no naration!

For reference: In the photo of 7" and LP Bags that you are looking at there are about 50 test pressings. You can even see a stack of tests on the shelf that will go into the next round of LP Bags that gets assembled later today. All in all, I'd say that there is a 10% to 15% chance that you will get a test pressing in your order. This chance does NOT increase if you ordered multiple bags of the same size, but if you ordered both a 12" and a 7" bag, then your chances double. Party with those odds, friendship!
 
Trivia: As opposed to hating each and every record going into these bags, I find that my love for them has compounded exponentially with every record I have touched. And yes, I have touched every single record going into these bags so far. Too bad I forgot to wash my hands, oh well. You jerks are getting HOOKED UP, haha!
