I miss when the target exclusives were the same price. It was my go to for all main stream/non limited releases. Wait for the buy 2 get 1 sale, stock up on all the titles I missed over the past 6 months. But with them charging 25% more than the artists' website, the sale's not really that exciting anymore. The past few Taylor Swift releases have been $10-12 bucks more than her webstore prices. 😕

Bunch of whiners in this thread. Turn off the tv. Buy one copy of the album. Listen to it between ETID albums. Life is good.

I’m a hardliner Swiftie and gotta be honest…I’m fuckin’ Swift’d out.   She’s non-stop everywhere & overwhelmingly flooding the scene. It’s like, girl, take a break, go away for a spell, let your fans breathe & miss you for a bit.   As a college friend’s grandma used to say: “Too much is too much…”  

Kind of a bummer considering I thought this could mean a new album.  Maybe it’s just a first step.

I don’t know why people want them (at 50 years old) still writing perverted songs. That’s always been a weird desire that people have with blink post-TOYPAJ. 
I guess that’s why I’m more interested in hearing what a Box Car Racer or untitled-era album would be like at this point.

There's a theory on the subreddit that it's because 1989 was first played to Karlie Kloss on a tripe down the PCH. It ties around to the whole Gaylor theory. Jesus I spend too much time on Reddit.

How is calling her the Metallica of pop a bad thing. Metallica are the biggest metal band of all time and she is well at the moment anyway the biggest popstar in the world. If you don't like it then that's also cool, music is subjective but she is great at what she does, is pretty smart (except when  it comes to dating), writes her own music, is well respected by her peers and puts on an amazing 3 hour show.

I usually only spin them if I'm doing something else in that room. 
 
Some words of wisdom, don't let FOMO take control over your spending. Only buy what you truly NEED to have on vinyl. I've accumulated way too many records over the last 8 years or so and every so often I go thru my discogs to see what records I actually want to keep.
