  1. Disappointed. Can't stand autotune so no purchase from me. Even the little bit on Boo is unlistenable IMO.
  2. Awesome! Love this album. Might have to pick up the stand-alone vinyl remaster. And download the other deluxe discs. I wonder if the vinyl booklet will come with the stand-alone LP? Might have to get the deluxe package if not.
  3. Marantz 6300 TT Yamaha KX-W592 Tape Deck Yaqin MS23B Tube Preamp Sansui QRX-5500 Receiver Sansui SP-3500 and EPI 180 speakers Sounds great to my ears but I'm not an audiophile. I also use Roon / Tidal / Schiit DAC to stream my digital library to a Chi-fi tube buffer before going into the Sansui receiver.
  4. Snagged one of each variant. My OG press wasn't handled very well by me and is pretty crackly. Still pissed I missed out on the 3xLP.
  5. Might have to pick this up except I'm not too excited about those dumb remixes tacked on. At least I can take it off after side 3.
  6. Two fairly dope songs/verses from DOOM, and the features are especially dope. The beats are a little boring for Muggs, but at least he's back to hip hop and sampling. His last project with Meyhem was really good. Would love to have gotten something a little more upbeat/uptempo for DOOM to flow on, he sounds a little weird rapping so slow. Either way I drunk ordered one of the $50 singles, damn it. Might have to flip it, or wait until all artists pass on, granted I make it past them, and make a killing.
  7. Didn't see anything about the grading/shape of Winks And Kisses. Is it new?
  8. Very surprised there isn't more discussion on this here. Received my clear vinyl early this week and it's a very noisy pressing. To the point of being annoying, especially when cranked up loud. Going to see about a replacement. Oh, great release in an already incredible discography!
  9. Eno didn't do the album production, engineering, or mixing, he just helped them write a couple songs and performed on them.
  10. Fruitless Research is dope af, by far my favorite from him. I hope I like this album... he's a bit hit or miss for me.
  11. Wow, I had no idea this was announced til now. Blind Melon is one of my favorite bands! Both albums are absolutely incredible IMO. Each one has its own sound and I love them both. I had the first one on cassette when it came out and played it to death. Bought the 2nd one on CD and vinyl on release day. I only had a chance to listen to the vinyl a few times before I somehow lost it in a move. Still wonder how it happened to this day, so I'm super stoked to see it's been reissued. Is there any difference between the colored and black besides the obvious coloring ie packaging, etc? And for some reason I can't remember the insert of the original pressing..... does the reissue have the same insert? Is it a lyric sheet?
  12. Since it sold so well I wonder if they plan on repressing it at all, in any color? At least it's still available directly from SULK. Although I can't seem to find any pressing info. Black?
  13. Yep, absolute classic! After looking at their facebook page and website it looks like that company isn't an official record company, just selling vinyl and pressing digital to vinyl/tape. I hope I'm wrong. Does anyone know if they source from master tapes at all? But either way they're overseas so if nobody will be distributing it in the states shipping will be expensive. At least it'll be under $100, but I'll probably pass as most likely it'll just be CD to vinyl press.
  14. This album is waayyy better than his earlier material (that I've heard) IMO. I'm loving it, and it will easily make my top albums of 2016! It's just too bad that it'll most likely go unrecognized aside from fans. Hopefully he gets some songs on tv shows/commercials/etc. He deserves it!
  15. Casual fan here, I pretty much liked most of their albums that I've heard, don't think I've listened to the last album. I haven't heard the original release of this new one, but I streamed the new album quite a few times now and really liking it a lot. Just might have to pick up the vinyl! No way! I like it!!
  16. Wow, loving all of these songs! This sounds like it'll become my favorite from him. I've liked most of his stuff that I've heard, but most of it is a tiny bit boring to me. The style of these tracks is more upbeat and lively, more up my alley. Can't wait!
  17. NICE! Loved their previous albums, especially Images du Futur. Not really sure if I like this new track though Never gave the Suuns and Jerusalem in My Heart album many listens, as I remember not liking it too much. Will have to revisit it for sure. I hope I like this new album, kinda worried.
  18. Member since 2005 - http://www.last.fm/user/Machiventa I used to use the last.fm client and website for streaming back when I joined, but quit when they got rid of multi-artist and multi-tag radio (man I miss that feature). I've been scrobbling almost daily from every player I've used over the years, and still check out my charts. I used to use their social features such as forums and groups a lot, but used them less over the years as they lost traffic. Ever since the recent catastrophic launch of the beta site and removal of tons of features, I now strictly use it for scrobbling, and checking out similar artists.
  19. 2 new albums? Great news! I like most everything he/they've done, so I'm Interested, but I would have to hear them first so no pre-orders from me. They could've at least posted a couple songs.
  20. Loved their last album a lot and this one sounds like it could be even better! Can't wait!!
  21. Not sure if it's been mentioned already, I searched with no results, but there's an awesome soundtrack from a 1981 surfing film that finally came out last year on LP/CD/Digital. http://www.anthologyrecordings.com/albums/bali-high-ost/ http://www.mexicansummer.com/shop/bali-high-ost/
  22. Great, great album. Bought it when it came out when they used to have listening stations in stores. Still play it quite frequently and concur with you guys saying he hasn't released anything near it since - About A Boy and Have You Fed The Fish had some great tracks on them though. While I love the album to death I'm not going to drop $50 on it. I would've snatched it up for $27 if I had known! Might grab the 1LP some day since it seems to be in print still and a somewhat reasonable price.
