Just curious, but does anyone have a copy of "Twins" they maybe feel like parting with? Just wondering before I try and find something else to fill that "$35 and over ships free" via amazon. (I don't have prime.. )

I got my Best Buy order. It's a single orange vinyl. No gatefold sleeve.

Also might just want to check in on our tracking number, because I ordered mine on March 4th, and they've finally gone from "created a shipping label" to actually in transit. Currently in New Jersey as of yesterday.

I ordered 2 and RARN in September and am still waiting for my copies. In January I emailed, didn't hear back for three weeks, and finally got an update about the delay. Captured Tracks has horrible customer service, but it is what it is.

You ordered them in September and you're still waiting? Wow. I thought it was bad ordering a in stock item on the 4th, and no actual shipment yet. What did they say the delay was? Did they actually even have the records?

Got all 7 of mine today in two mailers. Packed pretty tight, but no real harm. Giving them a listen now too. No problems, no complaints. Also the individual unique code they gave me, after emailing customer service, I was able to use on two separate transactions. I thought I could maybe use it till the end of the month, as long as I only did one record per order, but it stopped working after the 2nd order. So for anyone who got an individual code from Customer Service, try it twice to see if it works or maybe more?

according to their re-press guy, "It wasn't the second pressing, just some extra copies that were delivered back to us. Second pressing should be coming later this month. As for what's up now, I'm not totally sure because I do reissues and have nothing to do with the Mac stuff. But try again! Our store can be finicky sometimes. "

 

Mac Demarco "2" and "Salad Days" represses are up. I know it says "Note: The LP version of this release is temporarily out of print as it is being repressed. We currently expect it back in stock at the end of January / early February. We appreciate your patience." But if you just click the drop down menu under format, it actually says "available" for both "2" and "salad days" and you can add them to your cart and check out. I just did it.

Maybe "grander" is a 10th anniversary Takk tour where they tour and play the album in full and re-release the vinyl. Maybe.

This is a horrible idea. You will be putting weight on the shorter pieces of wood rather than the longer, more robust pieces. If you stack it full and don't reinforce it somehow, you will come home one day to a busted shelf.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the new ikea shelf that's posted on this page, http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00280939/ and zooming in, isn't it put together how you're suggesting it shouldn't? It looks like the longer pieces are going vertical while the shorter ones connect and are going horizontal. Isn't that technically bad with a lot of weight?

A little late to the game, but did everyone who pre-order from sub-Pop get the cassette with the demos on it? I ordered the regular version but didn't even know this was a part of the pre-order. Anyone listen to them yet? I need to find my old talk boy or something to find out how cool this is.

Regarding the 2x3 Target shelves. I've had mine for only a few months, I originally bought the vertical model, but I decided it looked better horizontal when set up. Of course the main different I'm noticing is the vertical is made to have feet on on the bottom... vertically, and the same goes for the horizontal model. Anyways, my question is does anyone happen to know if the vertical and horizontal are basically the same exact build and how they are fastened, besides where the feet go? Hate for it to break or anything like that, because there are slight, but important differences between the two.

I still need to pick up Blood Mountain and Crack The Skye, so I'll hold out and see if these are 2 x LP or not. That said, if they are ridiculously overpriced then maybe not!

I picked up both CTS and BM from Amazon for $32. Pretty good deal if you're just looking for the records to listen to and add to your collection.
