Beyond excited for the release of Empire of the Sun - Walking on a Dream LP. This has been one of my favorite albums for a while, but I never wanted to shell out the big bucks for the box set. So glad this will be affordable now. Other than the Darjeeling limited soundtrack, this is the only thing made me really excited to see so far.

I hope it's fixed. I'll take a black, good quality lp over a limited run, one off variant that could be worth 10x but sub par in actual music quality, any day.

Hey Travis, if all the records that sold out are getting repressed again are they also going to be splatter and of the same quality or whole new process? By that I mean is enema of the state going to have that edit again? I'm only curious because my EOTS personally has a lot of distortion through out the tracks and my dude ranch came warped so the first 2 songs skip, and Id love to get some decently priced replacements that sound and play good.

The Dude's a great song writer. I've definitely been preferring his releases over Ty Segall and co. (Slaughterhouse is still one of the best albums though) Definitely pre-ordered this.

Could someone explain to me the importance of a $1000-1500 record player? I've never even seen any of this value, and I'm just very curious as to what makes them better, or makes the music any better, or listening experience? Is the extra $800 that noticeable on good speakers and such? I'm very curious about this subject.

This is crazy. This is definitely one of my all time fav buckethead releases. The songs The New Year and Cult of One are two of my all time favorite, go-to chill songs. Love those songs and this album. Can't believe out of all the releases this one was considered. I'll definitely back this. Now only if we could get Electric Tears/Sea too.

I just recently won Toto's "Africa" on the really cool picture disc form, but it's just the disc with no sleeve or cover. I've looked on Amazon and ebay for one of those single stiff plastic cases that most picture disc come in, but the closest thing I can find is a bulk package of just the flimsy plastic sleeves that go over record jackets. Does anybody know where I can buy just one of these, or actually has an extra they're willing to part with?

Pre-ordered the standard, and really looking forward to this release. Can't help but think Josh Tillman isn't making fun of vinyl collectors with that limited-edition Deluxe LP version of will receive the album on tricolor vinyl in a Dioramic, Meta-Musical Funtime gatefold jacket with alternate cover artwork. He's a pretty funny guy and I think he likes to point out irony and idiocracy in trivial things, and I think he's taking full advantage of the die hard collectors with this ridiculous deluxe version. Kind of funny/cool too that the record plays the title track when opening the gatefold like one of those horrible birthday cards.

Man, I've listened to this like at least every other day on my way home from work to make me laugh. Been listening to it since I saw the 4chan post about it. I'll buy a tape for sure if I catch the pre-order link in time.

Just finished streaming it and have to say I'm pretty disappointed. All those songs were garbage and I can see why they were B-sides.

If you're a fan of Bill Burr's most recent standup "you people are all the same" then you'll like this. It's an early work of a lot of those bits. It's an early work of the same stand up he did that year. (Bill Burr changes his stand up routine every year.) This is a vinyl exclusive, because he didn't want to make another DVD with a similar stand up routine. If you're a fan of Bill Burr or comedy this will be a great vinyl to own. He also mentions more about it on this weeks Monday Morning Podcast.

Could you explain one more time where and how to get the farming point on venus and what your strategy is? For clarification, I just reached level 21 and still am trying to get a grip on the getting light armor and leveling up.
