Haha well, I guess I'll take it as a compliment if it looks like VMP since they're probably one of the biggest guys doing this! 
 
Not at all affiliated with them, to be quite frank this is a pretty small operation in the UK started by myself and a few friends. We wanted to bring more of the music we loved, and strongly felt that Jazz was underrepresented today in both popular media and vinyl subscription offers, so we decided to make our own!
 
 
Well, I'm hoping that the upside is that we don't just reach the experienced jazz aficionados but also interest younger people in the genre. Sadly, I feel that it's a bit of a dying art and it's a shame because I find it musically phenomenal and creatively unparalleled. 
 
To answer your question, the kick is that we bring customers choices of what we love and think is worth a listen and try to bring the back story to each album and artist in our monthly boxes as well! Cost-wise it may be slightly above going out and buying them yourself (although frankly not by much given new pressing prices today), but it's the luxury of having someone select, research, send and package everything for you, for your enjoyment every month!

For those of you who are Jazz lovers and are looking for a place to start, Vinyl Wings is a jazz vinyl subscription based in the UK. "So my friend works for BurgoPak and they just received this design from Kanye, to turn into one of their Burgopak cases (check them out, they're pretty cool).
The glossy finish is similar to watch the throne's artwork, it doesn't look good on camera, but its absolutely gorgeous live.
They want a two disc case, so maybe its the movie and the album.
The physicals will probably only be released in December, BurgoPaks aren't easy to make.
They already worked with Adidas multiple times, so maybe that's how he heard of them.

he left work and I called him and he gave me this info
-this will be ready for release confirmed early December ( they ordered 500k copies [100k version 1- 400k version 2 - will explain later])
-they also received some files that featured the vinyl design on the website, but they will be done by another company, for what he could know, the vinyl will be in a transparent packaging with just the blue vinyl
-confirmed that the blue disk will be the album, the yellow will be the movie and they will have two versions (version 1 - US/Canada version will be a 4K IMAX Blueray, rest of the world will have a regular dvd )
Version 1 is kanyewest.com exclusive, version 2 will be available everywhere
this is presumably the version they are going to send right now on the website, defjam payed a huge check to BurgoPak so they could finish this in early December

I recently bought an 1,100 LP collection. I ended up selling 670-ish to a guy for $300. I kept around 130 of the best stuff. It's my best score to date. 300 went in the trash. So needless to say, I have been focused on getting that stuff prepared to sell. Ended up have my personal best day ever at our last local record show a few weeks ago, so I've itching to splurge. I don't buy many modern soul records (there's literally thousands from the 50's-70's that I've never heard). But this struck me. It's a song from 1972 but released by Daptone recently. Pretty great stuff:
 
 

Just opened this and I think this is the coolest variant of any record I own.  The changing colors thing is more of an iridescence or oil slick (not black smoke).  Either way, I've never seen anything like it.
