  1. I might be taking a trip to Portland and Seattle to see Radiohead in April.
  2. Nice. Kind of reminds me of an old Postal Service shirt I have.
  3. Same thing happened here, except for skipping work. Ours was supposed to happen last Sunday.
  4. Sixth post down on this page. I put it all in a spoiler because there were a lot of photos.
  5. Anyone have suggestions for a Windows laptop for cheap? I'm just planning on using it for car diagnostic/programming tools and the occasional application that won't run on my Macbook. Maybe a netbook if those are still a thing?
  6. Hey pals, I'm selling some records if anyone's interested. I'll cut you a sweet deal. https://www.reddit.com/r/VinylCollectors/comments/5lwo6r/for_sale_back_again_with_hundreds_of_cheap_lps/
  7. Iceburn are playing tonight, but I really don't feel like leaving the house.
  8. Just got done watching Die Hard because I've got the Christmas spirit.
  9. 1. Neil Young at Usana Ampitheater, SLC 2. LCD Soundsystem/Savages/Museum of Love at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver 3. Sigur Ros at Kingsbury Hall, SLC 4. The Kills at The Depot, SLC 5. The National/Real Estate at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver 6. The Cure/The Twilight Sad at Maverik Center, SLC 7. Caspian/The Appleseed Cast at Urban Lounge, SLC 8. Built to Spill/The Hand at Urban Lounge, SLC 9. Digable Planets/Pusha T at Pioneer Park, SLC 10. Baroness at Urban Lounge, SLC This year was awesome for concerts for me. I finally got to see a lot of "bucket list" bands, like Neil Young and Sigur Ros, and got to see three awesome shows at Red Rocks, which I think is the best venue on earth.
  10. Saw him here a couple days ago. All he had for merch was Jesu/Sun Kil Moon shirts and a couple standard copies of Christmas songs on vinyl. The show was pretty lackluster. He had a keyboard player with him and a drum machine that got used once. Didn't even bring a guitar on stage. I stayed for about half the show and ended up leaving early. I loved the last time I saw him, but this was just kind of uninspiring. He was in a much better mood this time though.
  11. Not even when you tried to rip the album to your computer and the disc installed that shitty copy protection file and garbled all the songs?
  12. Sapst and Doman I think. EDIT: Lara used to live in Pittsburgh too, I think.
  13. What records were they? Iceburn are from here and I never see their records around. I saw them a few months ago opening for Earth and they didn't have any merch either.
  14. Nope. I ended up getting Empress Rising, Salem's Pot - Watch Me Kill You, and The Well - Pagan Science and it worked out to be $51.70 PPD. $9 of that was shipping. : (
  15. 30% off at Riding Easy with the code "van jam". I'm finally going to pick up the foil press of Empress rising and a copy of The Well's new record.
