In the same boat. Been contemplating snagging a yellow/purple copy on discogs but I think I might hold out for this :)

That’s the variant I want as well, I’ve just been buying other records for the time being and it’s not like Currents is hard to find.  Part of me was hoping the standard would keep going down in price on Amazon when it dropped $3 last week, but it went back up to normal price instead.

The price for this edition is a little steep for me too.

  2. Off topic: When I saw Dashboard Confessional play in early August, Chris Carrabba said that their drummer was about to record a new album with his other band.  He then introduced the drummer (Ben Homola) and confirmed it was Bad Books.  It'll be a while until we see an album, I'm sure, but it was still great news.

On topic: I'd probably grab an acoustic album if this is the case or even a live album.  He puts on a killer show.

Damn you guys are nuts. I'm just sitting here cd-less still semi-confident that the 20 extra bucks I spent on the "limited" version will come through and give me the best variant. I only need 1 copy haha.

I'm in the same boat.  I'm digging the blue/red variant but I only need/want one copy of the album.  Here's to holding out hope the limited is cool.

  4. Spoon - Hot Thoughts (signed by band)

The Bouncing Souls - Simplicity (clear/red)

Glass Animals - How To Be A Human Being

Die Antwoord - Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid

Tokyo Police Club - A Lesson In Crime (10y Ann.)

    STRFKR - Miracle Mile (cream)

Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends (dark blue)

I've been off the MO bandwagon for a while but this might be their most complete album yet.  I hated Cope after one listen.  This album is a 180 from that.  Can't wait for more listens.

I'm the exact opposite.  I thought Cope was a really solid album and after three listens of this one I'm happy I skipped out.  Bummed too because I was really hyped for this.
