I know. It's about having the music. Do we really not want others to enjoy having said music? I'm blown away. Having so much, I mean little, limited vinyl doesn't help vinyl as a whole; this only helps the collector/flipper. Having music on vinyl available helps vinyl overall.

I fail to see how this is "misleading the fans". The box set was initially limited to 900. Yes.
 
But then guess what? The band got hip to seeing that a good number of fans got shafted in either not securing one on RSD or online sales and then getting fleeced by flippers on eBay. So they recognized this and made the decision to hook their fans up by pressing more.

The sense of inflated entitlement of some people is astounding.

Been a Kings fan since i was a kid, so for about 25 years, if i moved to another city that had another team i'd probably cheer for them but yeah the Kings will always be #1. Its so much easier now w/ the internet and nhl center ice/game center to still root for your team no matter where you are.

I was wondering why this method hadn't been mentioned. This is how Shake It! in Cincinnati did theirs last year. Everyone enters in a single file line, gets one pass at the row full of RSD items, buys what they want and leaves, all while remaining in line. How does that not make the most sense?

I think last year my store let in about 5-8 people at a time.  It was nice, and there was room to breathe.

My store does it with limited people in the store at a time.  And also its only 1 of each item.  I like that the best, because its not overly crowded and it gives everyone a chance.

This will be my first RSD but the owner of my local shop said he allows 10 people in the store at one time, but it seems to be a mad dash against those other people once you get in the door. Luckily I have strange taste in music compared to that stores normal crowd, I guess.
I'd much prefer the menu method: Patient people are rewarded in that if you only have yourself to blame for not waking up early enough if you don't get the releases you wanted.
