I agree. People are too worried about death and being worried. I just live day by day and enjoy it. You can die at any moment, that is why you need to make every minute matter. In the words of Doc Brown:

How has no one mentioned ARMOR FOR SLEEP being on Equal Vision?? What To Do When You're Dead is one of my top 5 albums of all time! This would be the most rad reissue of all.

anytime she or one of her kids is sick, my sister's sister-in-law (who belongs to one of those crazy cult-like made up christian churches) makes a post on facebook about how she wants the devil to get out of her house and stop making whomever sick.
oh. ok.

Oh c'mon.
This reminds me of a gal I grew up with and lives a house a way from my parents house... she has a young daughter who is going through some really bad things with her health. I'm not fully aware of what's happening, but she is slated for brain surgery. So like any mother, this gal is bringing her to doctors and even went to Childrens Hospital in Philly for the best treatment. They've been trying to avoid surgery by using other treatments. So yesterday she posts on Facebook that her daughter is improving and might not need surgery - which is what the doctors at Childrens have been working hard to accomplish - and she says that it was all God's work and it's because of God that her daughter won't need surgery. I mean, it's fantastic that she's improving and getting better. But I don't understand the need to discredit the science and the hard work of these doctors that are curing her. If you have faith, that's awesome and all, but if someone (in this case, she is this someone) has a child (her now sick daughter) with a man she's not married to (against her religion), and is currently pregnant with another man's child who she is not married to (also against her religion), why would it be God and not science? Just like the weather. It's not God punishing the gays. It's science.

Yeah, my boss has teenage kids and he was telling me about taking them to a show at the Fillmore. It's a bigger venue, but I've seen a lot of great bands there (gaslight, rise against, hold steady, social distortion, etc). I asked what show hoping that it was something half decent and he goes "capital cities."
I gave the "oh cool" and went back to work.

I can't listen to more than 10 seconds. Reggae is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Agree with the above stating that 311 and Sublime are crap... Also I don't know what this fascination with Bob Marley is, but can't stop that crap at all. For some reason everyone I know idolizes that guy. I understand he is a huge influence, but his music is bogus!

I don't like Marley either, but to be fair i have a hard time listening to more than ten minutes of reggae music in one sitting anyway.

I cannot STAND to listen to Bob Marley and everyone always acts like I'm a monster. I fucking hate everything about Sublime. I smoked a shit ton of weed through college so I've heard at least a million stoned lectures about why both Bob Marley and Sublime are amazing.
One time I did acid and ended up in some apartment above a bar with a bunch of dudes "jamming" on Sublime songs. So instead of just regular terrible Sublime songs they were 20 minute jam covers. It was fucking hell and I had no idea how to get myself out of there and back home. One of them was wearing an Every Time I Die shirt and I told him he should know better.

Pretty much this. It's tough to complain about this record finally seeing the light of day, but that IKS repress has been a long time coming.

I kind of hate shows that require the cc person to get in. I wanted to go see tom waits like 5 years ago and a buddy was going to let me use tickets he couldnt use and they would not let him switch names or anything. Believe he was out the money because he couldnt go.

That's our goal. Just need to build up a name first and some money.
