  1. I'm 99% sure it's black vinyl. The slipmat is the only difference between the indie version and the standard version.
  2. There will be a cassette available as well. I'm verifying what color vinyl will be available at normal retail and will report back.
  3. Offspring is /1000. The orange BFF was /600. BFF went so quickly that we asked ORG to make more copies of Americana. It's nice to see that so many people are happy with these records.
  4. It would have been OK if it was directed at us. We were surprised too. Obviously, you and a bunch of other people correctly predicted this would sell out. I'll tell you something. Pre-orders always are a good idea. They help us predict how many copies we need, so you're a lot more likely to get what you want if we know in advance. That's probably true at any store. We haven't discussed it. If you consider that it can take three months to press a record, it's pretty unlikely that there could be any more copies in the pipeline in the next few weeks.
  5. Looks like we were pretty wrong about that, doesn't it? From what I hear, demand was far far beyond what was anticipated. Let's hope they repress it.
  6. Since it's a 4/21 release here, we will ship to arrive right around 4/21. Sorry to make everybody wait, but we have to follow the rules!
  7. It's a 4/21 release in the US. That's why you don't see it on the RSD list.
  8. We won't be able to take care of everybody but a lot of people will be happy. It would be awesome if anybody who got a shipping confirmation from the label and is using us as a backup let us know. Then we can move on to the next person on the list. Thanks.
  9. It's UK only. The LP I showed was one I bought long ago from a 3/$1 bin. The box with the 2 CDs and the DVD-A was released in the US last week. Anthony Phillips isn't on any of the lists of UK titles that appear to be sneaking their way into the US. I love that album and I hope you find it somehow. Based on a casual listen, the 5.1 mix is at least very good. It might be amazing but I wasn't able to focus. Everything sounded just right, if you know what I mean. Check it out if you do surround sound.
  10. Sometimes record labels can spare a copy for me to open. Unfortunately, they didn't have extras on these. I have lots of cool stuff to open up and show off though. It should be a good one.
  11. No kidding. Unfortunately, I will only be able to show the outside as I wasn't able to get a copy to open up. That's probably a good thing because it means one more person will get to buy it somewhere. It wouldn't surprise me if they do that if this year's one sells OK. I really hope to. It hasn't arrived yet, unfortunately, and I will be filming the video this weekend. Let's all hope it comes in today's UPS. Like Brand New, I won't be able to open it, but at least we can see how sturdy it is, what the box looks like, etc.
  12. Quick update here. We are still on track for 5/26 of the red vinyl. The run will be 1000 and will be available at most or all of these stores. Black vinyl will be available a month later everywhere.
  13. I think it's OK. I got a copy for "the video" yesterday, unless there is more than one red Ohio-shaped 7" this year.
  14. Great ideas. Gotta support a localish label! Yes, Tears for Fears was cancelled. I didn't hear why, however. It looks like we have two listings for Ivy because there was some question somewhere about whether they used the old UPC or created a new one. Sorry for the confusion there. I don't think the Simple Minds record will make it here for the video. That might be hard to find in the US because of the price and how it is being sold to stores. Bosstones should be no problem.
  15. I can almost guarantee that stores would use the list if it existed.
  16. 150 is the quantity we were told. That's not a Bull Moose number, that's the number for everybody. However, it could be like the Torche record I posted about yesterday, where we thought 200 existed, but it looks more like 200 are for retail and 800 have been on the label's site since February.
  17. It appears that we will have our colored vinyl around 5/4. CD is still scheduled for 4/14. Bummer.
  18. I'll post it very late Sunday night or Monday morning. I'll need the weekend to work on it. I did two short videos on Periscope earlier, but only people who were already following @bullmoosevinyl on the Periscope app could see them. I'm glad Michael posted this. Does anybody know anybody high up at eBay that could help us with this? Also, I believe that you can see contact info if you bid. If anybody does this, then you might want to send the seller's contact info to the contact info on the RSD website. Then the stores where this person must be thinking she/he can get the records can be warned. This happened a bit last year and I had the fun of speaking with a teenager who planned to buy from Bull Moose for resale. He was pretty freaked out when he realized he wasn't anonymous.
  19. People in this thread thought it would be good if we began posting when we hear of interesting items. We don't really do our own exclusives, so you should be able to find these items other places. Let me know if this seems spammy and I'll stop. Hopefully, this will be a helpful source of info and you can buy them wherever you usually buy stuff. First up: Torche - Restarter on green/purple "merge" vinyl. We were told that 200 would be available to stores, but someone just said on Twitter they thought there were 1000. Maybe you can also get this from the band or Relapse. Here's a link if you're interested. Stores should have these in a few days.
  20. The delay is real. We heard earlier this afternoon that we will get it on July 7. Sorry to bring the bad news. Even worse, black is delayed until then as well.
  21. I love that you posted that entirely without comment. Just watch, now we won't get any of the RHP box! Very observant of you! Yes, usually get them up the Monday before. That's the goal again this year.
  22. This is what we have on it: The 1998 Nonesuch recording of the landmark minimalist work of the 20th century, Music for 18 Musicians, available on vinyl for the first time. Pressed at Pallas MFG, Diepholz, Germany on two 180g LPs, with old-style double pocket gatefold jacket. Mastered for vinyl by Robert C. Ludwig, Gateway Mastering, Portland, ME. Lacquers cut by Chris Bellman, Bernie Grundman Studios, Los Angeles, CA. The Ludwig/Bellman/Pallas combo does add to the price, but you know the mastering and pressing will be amazing.
  23. Yes. We put them back up Monday when we saw we had enough to spare. Thanks.
  24. They should have made it exclusive to stores in towns named Salem.
