The RSD release sounds incredible. I have no need to buy the MOV release (although the color was enticing). Given the extra songs on the RSD release, I can't see how the MOV would be better.

So I broke my Ortofon stylus guard after about 3 months. I see they have them on the Ortofon site for $8. Is it worth getting a new one? I know $8 isn't much money, but the things seem pretty flimsy and I don't want to replace them every couple months. How important do you think the stylus guard is?

I moved 500 miles this past summer. I packed 1000 records in the small haul boxes. Taped them up really well and wrote do not stack all over them. The movers threw them on the truck and piled everything on top of them. When I opened the mangled boxes, nothing was damaged. Not even a bent corner. Just move the damn things. They aren't that delicate. Think of the beating they take from the post office.

I sold my first pressing last year to buy the new pressing. Then I forgot to buy it. Doh!

The box set is in album format. If you sold any records from it, you would just be selling records with no album art. It's not really something you can split, and it doesn't contain any of the original album art. It is still awesome though.
