I'd definitely call BC a white whale. I took me a few years to find a copy, even with cash in hand. I've seen two copies pop up for sale this calendar year and both went for 250 plus.

I second Dr. Strange Records. Bill is great and so is the selection of rare punk music.

They are repressing 40 oz to freedom next month. Check Amazon its like 24 bucks.

I bet they are not very far off from selling out considering the capacity you mentioned. In terms of merch, I saw some of the design for new t-shirts they are going to be selling, they look awesome. I'd love to have one of those or I may try to talk someone out of the special poster you get for buying the trifecta pass.

I'd love to go to one of the shows if they happen to book one close to Omaha.

My white whale is a test press for Don't Turn Away by face to face. I know of four in existance.

That makes perfect sense. A large venue with a minuscule amount of people does not lend itself to being intimate. I think they will pack the house on these shows with the fact that they are playing their most popular albums. Also, they have some surprises in store that will be amazing. I know as of last weekend that had already sold around 1000 tickets.

Guilty as charged! I was hoping you'd like the records, etc. The guys at Saddle Creek were amazing. I actually brought your dead format list in with me and they helped me pick stuff out. I'm more of a punk guy so I'm not real familiar with many of the artists you listen to. I was a big Lost fan as well and thought the book was cool. I hope you enjoy everything and have a great x-mas.
