aopps42 got a reaction from lexicondevil in Route Protection shakedown
I’m sure most everyone here is smart enough to avoid using route protection offered by various labels, but I recently paid for it, tried to get something from it for a seam split, and got what I deserved, a swift kick in the balls. Evidently it does not cover cosmetic issues at all, so if you’re ever considering it, don’t. I ordered Bane’s reissue from EV and the seam split isn’t huge, but I’m a little bit more picky than I used to be with every record costing $40+ shipped nowadays. Anyway. Route Protection is worthless.

We need to rename this thread to Dr Bob’s VMP referral links

It really hasn’t gone up, but might as well gouge us because we’ll pay it.

Not gonna lie...as of late, I've been feeling T-Swizzle Fatigue. It's been way too much. From the incessant everything of the Eras Tour to the onslaught of re-recordings back-to-back releases and merch...which I have not picked up anything anyways...it's just too much too quick.
I get it, strike while the iron is hot and whatnot, but c'mon. As my friend's Polish granny used to say in her broken English, "Too much is too much".

aopps42 reacted to OldKentuckyShark in PO: Lush vinyl reissues
I was really hoping these reissues would have all the b-sides and extras that were received digitally on the box set. I would absolutely buy reissues if they ever included those on the albums

Must be quite recent, it does not even appear in the 4AD website. Still no news of availability outside US.

I would just keep using the Vinyl PO board of this forum as your own personal blog. Seems to be working out pretty well.

That’s less of a coupon and more of a referral code. So you get $20 yourself.
