I think people have been waiting a long time for these. 

Even if something is new and I don't want it anymore if it's worth money I'm getting what it's worth. Fuck that entitlement forever.

I’d hardly call people selling 20+ year old indie albums scalpers. I mean, it’s not like they’re flipping the UO variant of something and listing on eBay while they’re still in preorder.
 
These things are long out of print, highly regarded classics. That’s basically any good used record store’s bread and butter.

Just got notice from Bullmoose that my preordered copy from many months ago is shipping. Assumed that wasn’t going to happen, am stoked to finally get a copy of this. 

Cool video of the guys looking back at the production process - inside look of the work and creativity that went into the album. Wish bands did more videos like this.
 
 

It’s not that strange people are complaining, right? The preorder implied these would be the complete studio recordings (turned out that wasn’t the case) on 180 gram vinyl (which apparently isn’t the case). When you charge upwards of 400 + shipping for what’s basically six albums and some extras it’s not that weird that people expect to receive a product as advertised. Especially since we all know the whole 180 grams thing is usually an excuse for companies to actually charge more for a record in the first place.
 
Meanwhile, what really bothers me is that I preordered this thing the day it went up, have not received it yet (or even got shipping confirmation for that matter) while my local record store was selling it on Friday for a slightly lower price than I paid. 

The store I ordered the indie non deluxe variant from cancelled the order and said their distributor told them that version isn’t happening. Got a refund, but 6 months after the preorder is weird.

Absolutely. Why press 5000 box sets that sold out almost instantly of a band with fans that have been waiting years for anything from this catalog to get repressed, when those vinyl presses could be shitting out 10 new variants of albums by The Used from nearly 20 years ago. I don’t know, doesn’t make any sense to me.

They throw whatever shit they have lying around in the pressing machines for bootlegs. It's typical to have them all be different. You're a dick for getting a refund after saying you don't care about what the pressing is though.
