  1. Cool to see the d side etching on the colored variants looks good. You can't even make it out on the splatter variant.
  2. Already bought 'Some Are Lakes' from someone on here. Just looking for 'Cloak and Cipher' now!
  3. Does anyone have any information on the break up or any side projects from the band? I know it's been years, but they never even publicized their breakup. Gareth has such an amazing voice, I can't imagine him not pursuing music further.
  4. I emailed the label and they said they have no plans of repressing it, but wouldnt rule it out in the future.
  5. Looking to buy 'Some are Lakes' and 'Cloak and Cipher'
  6. Loose cartridge! Took it out and tightened everything and it works fine now. You can close this. Thanks!
  7. So out of the blue, my turntables audio will only come out of one speaker, while the other will just produce a hum. I thought maybe the receiver in my room had something faulty going on, so I hooked it up to the big sound system in my living room and i'm yielding the same results. The receiver in my room has to go through a preamp. The receiver in my living room has a phono input so I dont need the preamp, so i'm ruling out a preamp problem. Any ideas as of what might be going on? I have tested both setups, and both speakers work on either set up when listening to the radio or tv. It's only when the turntable is plugged into the receiver that only one speaker will output music, while the other one hums. I'm stumped! Please help.
  8. Couldn't pull the trigger on the 50 dollar bundle. Happy with the clear with gray haze though!
  9. NSR124 July 22nd, 2014 Remember When is filled songs of nostalgia, hindsight and the constant struggle of expectations versus reality. Weiss’s signature power-pop is still at the forefront but there’s a new, subdued and laidback coloring to much of these songs. Even a heartbreaking and touching rendition of Robyn’s dance floor classic, “Call Your Girlfriend,” also graces the EP. One can easily imagine Weiss finding inspiration for these songs on a crisp California night with a group of friends gathered around a bonfire. Nights that music like this is created by and for. 01. 14. Vinyl finallyyyyy came in. First time ive had a record kind of beat up from the post office =/ But its fine. Slightly warped but definitely playable. And it sounds amazing!
  15. Anyone else having trouble getting into this album? Hmm.
  16. Listened to my red copy again today. Ugh, horrible. Which really sucks because this is a AOTY candidate for me. Hope they repress this as a 2xlp. Same with B&C-TTWTWM.
  17. Yeah im curious as to what makes this 12 dollars extra... hmm. Doesn't really clarify what the 'deluxe' vinyl part of it is.
  18. Came to post the same thing. Really wish there was a deluxe though.
