Well-deserved, for sure

I think I like this record more than the debut, and that's only after a couple listens. So many infectious tracks on here, I had to give it back-to-back listens and almost went back for a third. Vocals from all parties are as good as they have ever been, if not better, and some of the riffs on this record are utterly fantastic. Cannot wait to get my copy from NB and toss it on the table.

That Frank Turner record was a must-buy at that price, for sure.

This is the motivation I needed to throw money at Caspian haha I might as well grab the bundle.

I don't have any of these, but you guys haven't exactly given me confidence that I should pick any of them up haha I'm leaning toward just getting Tertia on rose; in the event these come out sounding as bad as everyone is thinking they might, I won't get burned as much.

Just realized that I had to go into my settings to change the "replies to topics I follow " back to emails instead of just notifications, so I missed out on this. Probably for the best for my wallet, since my blue swirly should be more than sufficient, but I am very curious to see what this is going to look like.

I couldn't use the comeback code this time, even when I tried using a different email address, but even still that is such an insane deal. Early on, back when all we had were those little Apple Music sample snippets, I guessed my favorite tracks would be April Ha Ha, Famine Asylum and Ask the Rust. I think I would only swap out Famine Asylum with In Blueberry Memories having heard the whole thing now. Ask the Rust closes out the record so perfectly, imo.

Depends on how much you value the Black Stallion LP, tbh. I've seen the 2010 White Pony represses going for $40 on Discogs. If you're not really a "remix" guy, don't think spending those twenty extra clams is worth it.

Looks like the tracks are on Spotify now, so I guess I'll give them a listen and see if this is worth the funds. Edit: Having listened to the Senses Fail tracks and seeing as how I am a much bigger SF fan than a STD (lol) fan, I will definitely pass.

The good news from this is that any flippers who are not aware of how bad this is will probably have to sit on these for a long time before finally selling them at-cost, potentially not even profiting off them. That's always a pleasant thought.

If my sealed copy of a /500 press is worth less than what it was when I bought it because of this fuck up, I might send out an email. Not that it would change anything, but I guess doing something is better than nothing.

How easy would it have been to release White Pony & Black Stallion on white and black vinyl? Like, I don't know if that would have influenced my decision enough to spend one hundred and fifty fuckin' smackers, but c'mon, this was not thought out well at all.

If it doesn't affect their pay, why should they? I guess time will tell if this ends up being a "newsworthy" fuck up for Revolver and the plant gets dragged through the mud or if it just blows over and people just forget about it entirely. After all, they are only pissing off 500 people, which is relatively small in the grand scheme of things, I would guess.

The question becomes: do I now sell my Revolver copy sealed and keep my gold/beer split instead? I think if I don't see a single Revolver copy that looks good before Monday, that is gonna be the plan.

In all seriousness, I love the decision to go with "deluxe and super deluxe" instead of "standard and deluxe". That's some primo capitalist shit right there.
