  4. Now available for order. All orders include an instant download of the record. http://www.animalstyle.limitedrun.com/products/502256-young-turks-where-i-lie-lp The Clarion Call is made just seconds into the record when Matt Koenig utters the phrase: “And if I promise just one thing for the rest of my life…” before counting off, then the gates are flung open and hell is unleashed for the next 30 or so minutes, a constant barrage of sound, fury, and pointed lyrics that doesn’t let up over a dozen tracks. The result, Where I Lie, is their proper introduction to the rest of the world, more than fulfilling the promise from their previous 7”, complete with the twin assault of blistering guitars, drums that would have the gods of thunder cowering in fear and vocals that will stick with you for days. http://animalstylerecords.bandcamp.com/album/where-i-lie

  6. Produced by Steve Choi of Rx Bandits and engineered and mixed by Roger Camero of No Motiv, Pictures of a Floating World is a tribute to free thinking – focusing on societal themes and individuality. It showcases glimpses of rock experimentalists At the Drive In and Quicksand, both major influences on the Snakes’ sound. Include a code for digital download of the new single “Old Light” featuring 2 brand new tracks produced by Silver Snakes' vocalist/guitarist Alex Estrada. 8. Richmond, VA’s pop-punk band Hold Tight! have announced plans to release their new full length, Blizzard of '96, on June 26 via Animal Style Records. Blizzard of '96 will be available digitally and on limited edition 12” vinyl, now available for pre-order at http://animalstyle.limitedrun.com/products/501474-hold-tight-blizzard-of-96-lp All pre-orders include an instant download of the record. Listen to the brand new track “Mother Leopard” exclusively at Altpress.com: Recorded by Christopher Compton at Broadscope Studio in Richmond, " Blizzard Of '96 is about the parts of life that are somehow simultaneously personal and universal, like four kids in four places experiencing the same snow storm in different ways," says vocalist/bassist James Goodson, "It's about the constant challenge of figuring out what kind of person you are, as well as what kind of person you want to be, and that maybe the experiences that lead to those realizations are more important than the realizations themselves. It's about trying to avoid adulthood. It's about how growing up never really stops. Most of all Blizzard Of '96 is about getting through the worst moments, and making sure to really appreciate the best."
  9. 10. Its clear but its a mispress. When they first got pressed all of the copies had Mixtapes labels on them so I held on to two for us. The rest were returned and destroyed.
  11. Blame it on Animal Style Records. Waiting for him to mail me the copies. They are in transit right now. Should be shipping this coming week. SUCK IT LAKES! Yeah man, the joys of being into a band early in their career. I'm glad I'm getting these collected before if/when these guys become big Just to be a turd there's technically one more variant and there's only 2 of them. Me and Brent have them. I'll give you his address if you'd like to go rob him of it.
  12. I'll buy this back from you for $16ppd please.
  13. All of the extras are overaged #s. Hence why they are extras and #'d above 125. You ask for 125 of something and the plant presses a few extras. Just how it goes.
  14. Picking these up later today and they'll start shipping tomorrow.
  15. Meaning I just picked them up from the plant today and have to assemble them!
  16. Pre-orders for Fast Forwards Eats the Tape are now up through Jump Start. They're going to handle the orders for this release so be sure to order one. http://www.jumpstartrecords.com/mm5/merc....egory_Code=LPS
  17. This is basically the first I've hosted and isn't the start to a new trend. Just have to work around things a little bit when other labels are involved. Its just a couple weeks out and things are certainly on track for the release date.
  18. There were 101 test presses made that all had screened covers. These copies are made up of 55 leftover copies on black vinyl that I was shorted on covers. There are 3 left because some folks tried to buy multiple copies. Have at it.
  19. trust me, i hate myself for caving but i tried so hard to get this pressed before and always hit dead ends. i even made the petition for it but amy at fiddler would never give it up. its overpriced as fuck but ive been waiting for this for years on vinyl. Not a blast on you or anyone else buying this or any other record. What you do with your own money is your own business - more power to you. Just this trend of $20-25 single LPs has become nauseating.
