The best way to fix this is, make the RSD released colored or numbered or some limited thing for those who love the chase or want to own it first, or decided records are a better retirement investment than a 401k, and then do a wider press (and let it be known to partially drive down secondary market prices) a month or 2 later for wider release.

Beck has been my favorite musician since 1994. I have copies of literally everything he's ever recorded, from early demos to obscure B-sides. 
 
That said, he hasn't released a good album in 10+ years.
 
It's no longer an issue of "I don't like this album as much as the last," but an issue of "this is generic, unlistenable garbage." I still haven't made it through Colors, and after trying to listen to the singles from this album, I have no interest in hearing the rest. 
 
His unique humor and unbridled originality has morphed into seriousness and predictable adult-contemporary bore. 
 
 

It happens. I didn’t like enough of his last record to get it and I won’t be getting this one either. The days of me buying everything from an artist because I like some or most of the artist’s catalog are long gone. Beck is a diverse artist, so it’s understandable if you like one album but another doesn’t click. 

I tried to stream this on Spotify this morning and I couldn’t get through a single song. I’ve been a beck fan since Odelay but I think it’s finally over between us. Damn. 😫

Go the Nagaoka! Great value and excellent sound. I am running a denon (301mk2) and I like it alot but you need MC capability as you would with any of the denons. If your after MM go with the Nagaoka.

Personally, I think "Do You Wanna Get High?" is the only good song on the White Album and the rest is trash.

I’m just here for the outrage over RSD from people wasting their time complaining about RSD...and hopefully a few releases I’m actually excited about.  Last year was the first year I didn’t but anything RSD related.

I 100% understand where every single post on this page is coming from, and I wholeheartedly agree with all points made, but I still feel like the definitive remasters don't tread anywhere near the realm of "blown out".  But that's just my take.  I'll wait to hear how the official vinyl sounds since anything can happen in the pressing process, but as it stands I'm currently enjoying The Fragile more than I ever have and don't find it necessary to swap paragraphs and spectrographs to defend why my ears aren't fatigued from listening to it from start to finish.

So is this what the Steve Hoffman forums are always like?

Miles Davis - In A Silent Way and Sketches of Spain sound superb on Mofi. Sketches is the best Ive ever heard this album, the soundstage is noticeably wider and the sound is magnificent. In a Silent Way is also amazing. If you are thinking about getting these records the Mofi is really the way to go if you can afford the $30 US price tag... recommended!

This times a million. Love that album. They need to just reissue the whole bloody catalog. Would love a kick ass bad seeds box set.
 
Seeing Nick Cave later in the year in Auckland. Most excited about this. Push the sky away is a hell of a grower, and is really my most favourite album of the last year or so. Dig Lazarus Dig is awesome and along with the two grinderman albums basically got me into Nick Cave in a serious way.
