Fuck yes I was thinking the same thing those two songs go together! Oh well still got it though. well on the original lp they had to split the sonic sweep part at the end of Refused Party Program that zooms straight into Protest Song 68'. What they coulda done was put those 3 songs on one side but I guess you'd have alot of extra dead spots on 3 lps.

if you were going to integrate your tv/cable box/dvd player in the future you would want to get a 5.1 receiver. if you were just primarily going to use it for music especially for your turntable a stereo receiver or integrated amplifier would be your best bet. Just make sure either one you get has a "phono" input or you will also need to buy a phono pre-amp.

That's pretty cool of him to sell it to you for dirt cheap. If you want a good set up, solely for the use of your turntable, you would want to get a decent STEREO receiver, if you get a new one you don't need one that does 5.1 home theater surround sound unless you're planning to use it with your tv and dvd player. Stereo receivers will only have spots for 2 left/right speakers or maybe another set for speaker B. Just make sure it has a Phono input like the AlexH said or if you get one that doesn't have a Phono jack you will also need to get a phono pre-amp. If you're planning to use this set up for a long long time (which I'm assuming you would want to) I would choose mid to high end range equipment. go into some home theater stores that can do a demo of equipment for you if you can, you can hear the differences between different speakers and receiver set ups. I have a decent set up for not too bad of price out of my pocket. I have Definitive Technology bookshelf Speakers and a Denon receiver. Sound is basically where I want it. I could always upgrade my equipment but it already sounds amazing. you can find some good older receivers that work perfectly fine, try to find some reputable brands like Marantz, Denon, Pioneer, or if you're lucky, McIntosh. for speakers go with bookshelf speakers unless you want some towers. try to find some that have a decent tweeter and midrange driver. if you find some really good ones you'll get some rich bass without the need for a subwoofer. Any brand would be good, just don't buy ones off of dudes that sell them from their vans in random parking lots. I love my Definitive Technology speakers but brands like Polk, JBL, Boston.. all great.

I swear by Def Tech Speakers, I have the bipolar towers in my living room home theater with built in subwoofers, sound is incredible.

the posters were hand numbered out of 200 and they were from the same silkscreen as the t shirt and backprint of the hoodie. If atleast 2 people got purple at the Anaheim show they must haven't sold alot of 7"s or they had more than 100 pressed. Either way I'm stoked. Now if they can print more t shirts over size L the next time I see them...

I hate you. I was too busy talking to Fatty. I didn't buy shit cause of the XL shortage. I was so bummed that they didn't have any shirts above size M, the 7" being purple definitely made up for it. Oh and seein Fat Mike and Matt Skiba there was pretty awesome as well.

alright, so I went to the Larry Arms show tonight at Chain Reaction and of course they didn't have any shirts or hoodies in my size (XL) so I just bought a silkscreened poster and a 7", the display one they had was on black, and I glanced at mine, assuming that it was just black as well. While watching Teenage Bottlerocket, I accidently tip my 7" and the disc falls to ground to my horror, luckily I picked it up and made sure it wasn't scratched or damaged and it wasn't. I held it up to the light, noticing it was translucent, PURPLE! Did anybody else get a purple one at of their other tour stops or was mine just a fluke?

That sucks. I got Gallows "Orchestra of Wolves" on vinyl and it was a deffective disc. An extra side a label got stamped in with the record, off to an angle so basically the last 2 songs have the label pressed into the grooves. Basically making those songs unplayable .

Went to Vacation Vinyl today, had all 4 colors! While online the vanilla pistachio color is sold out, they have about 7 of them in the actual store.

Done and Done! Loved Slapstick since 1995, still love them today. Broadways are also in my fav list!

I think the cover is pretty clever. The front cover is supposed to be a "mixtape" of Alk3 material, I think the reason why the artwork is that small and in the corner is supposed to be the actual size of a cassette tape. Like you're buying an actual mix-cassette tape, but it's a vinyl. Frankly I think a giant-ass cassette tape the size of a lp would look more awkward, but that's just me.

This new album is supposed to be heavily Psychedelically influenced, the artwork makes it obvious it's gonna be one groovy-ass album. I love collages and pop art shit like that.

I just ordered it. It looks fantastic, I heard the new single Shock of The Lightning and Falling Down off the album and it sounds so awesome. I'm a long time Oasis fan, this boxset is my cup of tea, I'm Stoked!!!

I heard 180g vinyl is also "virgin" vinyl meaning the vinyl material is non-recycled vinyl pellets while regular vinyl is made mostly of re-recycled pellets. I guess it just means the vinyl is more pure and less likely to have any defects.
