The mid-to-late-2000's output of Leviathan & Xasthur (+ their split) have been doing me great lately. Such infectious music.

I don't have earlier pressings to compare them with, but I'm very happy with the reissues.  The S/T is superior in my eyes due to it including No Joy and the remix.  Packaging and LPs are heavy duty (like most HH stuff) and they sound real nice.  I haven't had time for the Things Viral live LP, but the S/T live disk seemed to be worth the extra money.

I can't imagine that releasing 4 variants of your album helps with album delays either, but that's none of my business.

I know this isn't really the time for stuff like this...but I think you meant utmost, not upmost. Not saying it to be a dick, just to educate.

It's always so disappointing to me how a lot of the time fan mockups outclass the actual product itself. What aren't companies realizing about this? But then again, I'm just a guy who thinks all this stuff is cool, what do I know. Some awesome stuff, dudes.

I gotcha'.  I'm a sucker for translucent vinyl in general – which is no surprise by this point – but especially with Hecker's compositions.  They can be so ethereal, icy, and airy – it just makes sense in my books, and feels like it adds to the overall aesthetic presentation.  (Jon can probably attest to this with his newly obtained copy of Haunt Me.)  For that reason, digging out a few more bucks just felt right to me, too.  I've also been cutting back on a lot of purchases in preparation of bigger fish to financially fry, but this was a no-brainer.  I wouldn't be surprised if this is the best ambient / drone release of the year.  Especially if it comes through with the melancholia.

This makes me happy.  There's no way the album leaked that early and not a day before the release announcement.  Thank you based Timmy.

Probably one of my most anticipated for 2016. Virgins was a killer release, in my books. I really can't wait.

Discogs is your best bet for that. They pop up for < $30 PPD pretty frequently.
