No record costs 100$. This is exactly what scares me about doing this. It rattles me that a 7" can be 50$ and 1 record can be 100$. People need to realize that they can make a profit while still keeping a fair price. It's a record, not a Taylor Swift ticket.

Im just sick of limited. I mean i love the collect-ability and shit but the reason "limited" records get repressed is because somone who wants the white stripes album that was RSD exclusive isnt gonna wanna pay the 200 bones on ebay if they miss it, which its likely that they will. Represses keep resale cost low(er) and provide availability to everyone. An album shouldnt get an RSD spot for this reason IMO. Albums should be widely available. RSD should be gimicky records and unreleased content that you wouldnt otherwise get. that way its truly limited. Tegan and Saras RSD releases are perfect (although they kinda suck) Live albums and a remix album. Those things wont need represses. Feel me?

I paid $17 for mine in August 2010.... What a difference 3 years makes. Especially people who are accepting the $40 2XLP as the standard. You're the reason the retail prices will continue onward and upward.
