What the hell? JB HiFi are so random when it comes to records.

Would be all over that splatter if shipping to Australia wasn't $52 USD I contacted them and they said shipping costs are accurate (how?!?!) and that they would be putting up a preorder for Australia (which they haven't done). Seems like all other regions get transparent preorders.

Isn't it transparent red? Also how can I join the mailing list (if anyone knows), I can't find a link etc anywhere.

All the variants of this are looking pretty good! Let's see if the pressing plant UNFD uses can actually produce something similar to the mocks (I hope so cause they look really good). I think I'll try and grab the green/yellow or the purple splatters. I wouldn't mind the box set but I don't think I'm a big enough fan to go for that (I know I would never play it as I don't want to swap 11 discs while listening to an album).

Did give it a brush and de-stat before spinning it but I'm not sure how much it helped over all. As with you I'm still glad I own it, so can't complain too much!

I think the rise LPs were $15 or $20 USD, which at the time was $20-25 aud. How are people finding the sound quality on the rot 7"? Mine is really warped and super crazy surface noise, the worst I've heard to date. Don't know if it's just my copy or if more are like that, either way pretty disappointed, especially for the price.

From what I'm hearing there will be quite a few of all three RSD presses up online sometime this week, so those stressing about missing out, just check 24hundred from time to time. Also in regards to the pricing, it seems that 24hundred were selling them on to record stores at a fairly high price (Clarity said they didn't mark them up much, so I'm guessing they had to pay $25 or so for them).

I grabbed the Olive Green/Earth Brown too, keen to see what it looks (and sounds) like!

High Hopes would be amazing! Would love to have that on vinyl, but I think you're right that Chasing Ghosts is more likely. It would be nice if they released something that wasn't splatter though.

I ended up buying a few of them, the splatters actually looked surprisingly good! Grabbed the red/black, red/white, white/red and the solid black. Also checked out before they were mean't to be up (15:57)!

Should be good! I wish they didn't release them during the day though, hopefully they still have some of the black/red splatter after I finish work.
