  1. Ahhh, I see. Well, I'm pumped to receive my POed orange copy anyhow! Thanks!
  2. So, I'm waiting for my PO of this 2nd pressing on orange and I noticed just today that they now have an "oddity" variant available now. A/B on 1st pressing green and C/D on clear SRC subscription only. limited to 250. Think they'd let me change my order? http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Silverchair-%252d-Frogstomp-2XLP-%28Oddity%29.html
  3. It's going to be tough to get any of those at a non-ebay price, unfortunately. All of their stuff is pressed in very limited quanities so they fetch a high dollar. Best to just wait for another reissue, if there is one. I wouldn't mind owning Enema of the State, that's a good one.
  4. I would love to have the OST of The Crow and Natural Born Killers on vinyl. 2 of my all-time favorite movie soundtracks.
  5. The only 10,000 Days you're going to find will be bootlegged. That title has never seen an official pressing. There's a listing for Wild Mood Swings (US release) on discogs.com for $45 plus shipping. Not sure you're going to see it much cheaper than that. I wouldn't be surprised if this one never gets reissued as it was accepted rather poorly by most fans of the Cure when it was originally released. It has arguably the worst song the Cure has ever put out, "the 13th". God that song is retarded... http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=1548948&ev=rb
  6. What I find puzzling is why on earth you're getting rid of some of this stuff. I would never part with my Deftones albums. I do need that self-titled one though.
  7. I saw that at Moondog Records in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago. (Right by UNLV on Maryland Pkwy)
  8. Ahhh, sorry I missed that. What kind of shape is your Vheissu in? Is it Peach/Tan Marbled? I don't think that one was ever pressed onto an official Yellow. The copy I have is Peach Marbled and it's warped almost to the point of unplayability. Also, the holes in the center were too small. I've managed to get the holes loosened up enough that there's no problem anymore.
  9. Yes, terrible timing indeed... September is going to be a big month for me, vinyl-wise. Lots of good stuff coming out. I'd love to have that Thrice Artist in the Ambulance.
  10. I think I paid about the same for mine. Lots of people I think were hoping that the sound quality of the vinyl would be better than the cd was. I know my cd of that album is one of those that seems to have a really low volume level. As far as the actual sound quality goes, I think the album was recorded with intentions of sounding really raw.
  11. Run tell dat! Whatever and Ever Amen and Reinhold Messner both need a serious reissue. I have very fond memories of both of those albums.
  12. I haven't seen this album listed for anything short of $80 bucks. This should be the next AIC reissue for sure. Maybe MOV will do it. I love this album. Sorry this wasn't a response telling you I have one to get rid of.
  13. Amen to that! I have Paegan Terrorism Tactics and WTKSP both on vinyl. A friend in highschool got me into Acid Bath and Agents of Oblivion. Agents could be sooooo amazing on vinyl. Maybe someone should suggest to Rotten Records that they launch a crowd-funding site. I've ordered several freshly pressed Ninjatune LPs through Beatdelete.com They got a real nice operation going on over there. Recently I heard that the Universal Record label is also going to be launching a crowd-funding website.
  14. I haven't followed them much after the Gravity album. I remember trying to listen to Healthy in Paranoid Times once and just couldn't get into it and I have heard absolutely nothing from their last 2 full-length albums. They seem to be accepted much better in Canada. Clumsy was definitely their highpoint in the states but my favorite album of theirs is probably Happiness.
  15. I'm surprised this topic hasn't been talked about more. Why the heck isn't there any OLP on LP? Give me Naveed, Happiness..., Clumsy and Spiritual Machines in some gatefold double-LPs and I'm a happy guy. Gravity was ok but it was all downhill from there IMO.
  16. I have a peach marbled copy of Thrice Vheissu that had this problem. The holes were just big enough to get the record on but then when I'd go to remove it nearly got it stuck the first time. I used a mechanical pencil since it tightened inside the hole as I pushed it in (pun definitely intended). Once it was too tight to shove in anymore, I pulled it out. Repeat over and over until the hole is big enough. Remember that it's actually not a bad thing for it to be "tight" on your TT, what you DON'T want is to make that hole too big. That'll ruin your record.
  17. SSD now has pre-ordering up for MOV Core on black vinyl. Gettin it. http://www.soundstagedirect.com/stone-temple-pilots-core-180-gram-vinyl-lp.shtml
  18. I'm sure it pained you to do it, and I do understand. Especially if it's your favorite band and you don't see any way to avoid droppin a bunch of cheddar. I always just have faith that eventually everything that I want but can't afford is going to see a reissue. Right now I'm just hoping that Coheed will be able to reissue In Keeping the Secrets and finally get Apollo I a proper vinyl treatment. And I really would like to see another Alchemy Index Hot Topic release. Thrice and Coheed are 2 of my favorite bands.
  19. I listened to the entire digital set over the weekend. I have to say... I'm a huge Pumpkins fan but a lot of those extra tracks aren't anything I can't live without. I mean... damn... they have recorded everything short of Jimmy Chamberlain farting on a snare drum. Don't get me wrong, I still very much would like the original 33 tracks on vinyl and do plan to get it eventually if it becomes available for a little cheaper. I do know that I won't be buying the cd set because it's in no way worth 80 bucks to me. It's always neat to hear demos of some of the MCIS songs to be able to hear what the songs sounded like before the finished product, but it's really just a one-time listening kind of thing to me.
  20. Thanks for the info man. I guess I just thought I blew the only opportunity I was going to have back toward the beginning of the year when I heard about it and just gave up the lead when I went to the site and i had missed the herd. I just wrote EA an email asking if I'm going to have another chance and this time I'll try to be prepared.
  21. So how was it? I would really like to be able to get my hands on that one and Downward. I remember reading somewhere about Earth Analog label selling these but I checked before and they were sold out. Am I correct in understanding that there has been multiple "batches" of these that have become available?
