preorder link! Doesn’t say anything about being a limited variant, but looks great

More like Boatheed and Catamarandia

Ratsky9 got a reaction from V3XED in PO Now: Queens of the Stone Age Reissues - Songs for the Deaf, Rated R, Era Vulgaris
Your question wasn’t directed at me, but currently Demon Days is a swap option. The caveat being that if it sold out between now and the time of swap you could miss out. I believe it’s been hanging around for a while though.

Ratsky9 reacted to N8TRU in **UPDATE** Vinyl Records Survey (3-5 minutes)
Unrelated but Superstore is one of the best shows right now. I saw Nico Santos do stand up last month and it was absolutely hysterical.

Ratsky9 got a reaction from texan4life in PO: Chance the Rapper
This is out on streaming and the vinyl preorder is live. Doesn’t seem to be limited so I’ll probably be holding off for a bit.

Ratsky9 got a reaction from Fowty Dollaz in RSD 2019 Limited and First Releases
I was looking at the list again and the pressing numbers for The Crow and Lost in Translation were both updated to 8000. It looks like there should be no issues grabbing these

Ratsky9 reacted to ColemineRecords in ONLINE Record Store Day 2018 - deals, on-sale times, wants lists OK
I know I'm a few days later here, but just wanted to chime in on the website being wonky (I'm Bob from Colemine and Plaid Room). When we update the back end, it happens in two steps. First, all the add to cart buttons are un-hidden from this page:
https://www.plaidroomrecords.com/collections/rsd2018
This happens almost instantly, as I'm only changing the Shopify collection settings, and individual items aren't really edited.....just the way they're displayed. The second wave of updates takes me between 2-5 minutes to complete. Each item must be individually updated (changing the item template on the Shopify back end) so that it removes the text about it being an RSD item and replaces it with an add to cart button, like the button shown here:
https://www.plaidroomrecords.com/collections/rsd2018/products/b-baby-huey-b-br-i-the-baby-huey-story-the-living-legend-i-1
I've received many comments/inquiries regarding the site. I was actually blown away that the site maintained, Shopify is an incredible platform. I don't remember exact numbers, but there was between 800-1200 folks on the site at 8am, and the page refreshes were something like 4,000 - 10,000 per minute. In the end, I haven't heard any complaints about crashing.....just about folks adding things to their cart that sold out before they could check out. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the platform, and I don't have any great solutions for that. In the end, we got a lot of orders from a lot of folks, and everything was listed at or below retail....so I think a lot of people got stuff they missed out on and didn't have to pay the flipper prices....and that's absolutely always my goal. :-)

Ratsky9 reacted to texan4life in PO: Brian Fallon, Sleepwalkers
I feel they missed the opportunity for a orange, black, and red tri color variant from the three colored circles on the top right of the album cover.

Ratsky9 reacted to Fowty Dollaz in PO - Brand New - Science Fiction
After seeing it all (haven't spun yet), the set is pretty nice (a little underwhelming albeit). I do like the art, flowers are a little tacky, and the slipmat is nice. Overall, it's not what I hoped for, but it's pretty cool.

Don't really understand the cd hype. Its a goddamn burned cdr in paperbag. Get over it and hope the vinyl worth the 45 alone.

Ratsky9 reacted to rooks in PO - Brand New - Science Fiction
Why didn't they send out a census beforehand to see who the biggest fans are? If you have the other 4 records framed on your wall, at least ONE of the EPs, the lyric book from TDAG, a shirt, and at least ONE poster they should have sent a secret side site link with a password so us TRUE FANS could place an order.
Randomly dropping it gave everyone a chance and I for one think that's EXTREMELY fucked up. I loved this band with all my heart but now im listening to Taking Back Sunday's first 2 albums because I'm fuckin' glad Jesse's girlfriend cheated on him back in the day. FUCK THIS BAND!

Ratsky9 reacted to erikness in RSD 2017 Online Leftovers: Post sellers here after they make items available online
Same situation. Paid initially. Had to cancel that payment and rensend a lesser price to a different addy. Contacted them this morning. All good. Said they are shipping my copy today or tomorrow.

Ratsky9 reacted to Sidney Crosley in Pro-Ject Elemental vs U-Turn Orbit
Debut is a better table, but not by leaps and bounds. If you're thinking that you'll want to buy a turntable for several years, go for the Debut. However, if you want to temporarily upgrade for a year or two, and then move on up to the $800-$1500 range (e.g., Rega RP3, Marantz TT15, etc.), then you may as well buy an Orbit for now, enjoy not destroying your records, and then you can probably sell the Orbit for 60-70 percent of full price, and buy sumpin purtier.
