  1. Sec, you da' man. I'll put in for Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Lmt ed, Red, Import. http://www.amazon.com/Yoshimi-Battles-Pink-Robots-Vinyl/dp/B00006GEB4/ref=tmm_vnl_title_0 Because I want to look like this:
  2. I think Charlie was the worst character on the show so I'm not too disappointed that he left. I just hope it doesn't mess up the flow. I really loved the short lived bromance b/w Ray and Adam so hopefully they have more scenes together
  3. Oh man, one of my favorite amped up songs is Angel by Devin Townsend Project.
  4. So did anyone manage to buy tickets to the breaking bad finale at the Hollywood Forever Cem yesterday? What a monstrosity. I managed to get two, but one friend in our party couldn't. We're flying from Denver, so who knows what he's going to do for 5 hours.
  5. this is for the rock opera, yes? I ordered signed LPs back in early July and I still don't have those items. Although I noticed the drawings are all making their way.
  6. I just finished Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden. Really good. And apparently one of the members of the Colombian drug trade just died in prison. Now I've decided to go back through the Harry Potter books and alternating with All You Need To Know About the Music Business by Donald Passman. Hope to finish these by 2017.
  7. I have a theory that Walt is actually behind the hit by Todd and his Uncle when Lydia visited the new lab. Walt's biggest fault is his pride and maybe after hearing that the meth being created was severely substandard he decided to control it again. Eh?Eh?
  8. so glad someone made a thread of this! i just recently moved out west but the 930 club was my favorite music venue in the philly/dc/balt area and i always looked for this guy even though i never knew him. bummer for sure
  9. due to the ongoing political unrest b/w assad's rule and his opponents, there was a recent attack on civilians in which hundreds of women and children were killed by chemical weapons. I think a little over a thousand were actually killed. thats essentially where this is all coming from. France formally announced that it would take military action and the UK tried some initiative that i don't really know a whole lot about but it failed. Russia, true to its unnecessarily difficult nature, said it needed concrete proof that chemicals weapons although its hard to believe to me that they don't have that intelligence. so congress pressured obama to have a congressional vote approving military action and obama announced that he would like congress's input but ultimately he will take action without it. havent decided how i feel about a strike because that terrifies me but it does surround a moral dilemma.
  10. considering buying tickets for the Denver showing. or at least for the first show since it is far superior than the second day. anyone else going to this one?
  11. if anyone watched talking bad i love how bob odenkirk answered that the only way saul would turn in walt is if he messed with his money. too depressed that there are only 5 episodes left. also, i totally thought that the server at the meeting of walt, marie, hank, and styler was the same server from office space. a little imdb investigation says nay but i guess this proves a hollywood "annoying server" stereotype? yeehaw
  12. I came in after breaking bad (which holy shit) right when JT and co performed. I lasted until One Direction's award for song I've never heard of before. Far too many Taylor Swift cuts for me.
  13. This is totally awesome! VC is my new favorite find. Beirut, Gulag Orkestar, Amazon. Recently updated my vinyl collection list and was so bummed to see I forgot to buy this!
  14. I have several signed records but I can't imagine I would sell them. Like was said these are specific moments for me after a show where I was so excited to buy the record and meet the artist. Although I have no qualms about buying a signed record so long as it is not personalized. I convinced myself I needed a microphone signed by David Gilmour off ebay (skeptics, shoo) so I can't see why a plain signed record wouldn't appeal to me. I prefer to get a setlist, have that be signed, and throw it in the record from the show. If I ever sell my records I'm destined to accidentally leave one of those in there.
  15. Or, perfectly? Also, I feel compelled to want to be in this? Freeeeee
  16. Oh I'm well aware of discogs. Really hoping someone from the woodwork will have a pressing. But thanks for looking!
  17. What's up, all. First time post and I'm looking to get put out of my misery. A great friend of mind recently introduced me to Devin Townsend and hopefully someone else on this board listens to him. I desperately want a copy of his Ghost album, which I can only find on cd. I cannot imagine that there isn't a test press or promo press or something. That seems weird to me for a metal artist. Anyhow, so I ask, could it be that this glorious album is only on CD? Reaaally hope someone has that answer.
