Saw the Hobbit on Friday. Entertaining but about 40 minutes too long. they really should have just done two long movies.
Just finished the Purge. Interesting concept, shitty movie.
Started Sons of Anarchy. About half way through season 1. Burning through it pretty quickly. Everyone has told me to watch it and finally going to catch up on all of it with the latest season just finishing.

been toying with getting this. im just on the fence because it being 8 records the costs are over 20 a record and most records they put out or 20 or less. thought they would give somewhat of a deal on it.
-
No doubt. I honestly havent been to sound cat since rsd in the spring and have been meaning to get over there. Its 5 minutes away from me but never seem to make it there

I grabbed the self-titled and Twilight Sentinel at one of the local Pittsburgh shops a few years back for $10. So glad I never pulled the trigger from the labels that released them way back. This was infinitely cheaper.
Pretty sure there are a couple of copies of Twilight Sentinel at some of the shops. At least there were last time I made the rounds.
I had been looking for both of those for a while in pittsburgh but never saw them at places like pauls/soundcat or mind cure. I was able to grab a copy of surface to air at mindcure because apparently one of the guys from zombi came in and got rid of a few copies of everything they had extras of which was mostly that and spirit animal.

As someone who lost interest in the TV show after the second season do you think I would enjoy the game?
The games do not really follow the show storyline. You see characters from it but doesnt follow the arc. Im not familiar with the books so not sure if its closer to that or not.

Zombi: Twilight Sentinel
Zombi: S/T
Thank you Goblin and Zombi show!

this show was awesome. Zombi played almost all of surface to air as well as cosmos and one more i cant remember at this time.
they had a ton of vinyl and was able to grab the s/t and twilight sentinel. since it was a hometown show they were able to stock up on a bunch of records as well as bring out some stuff they hadnt before which i guess included these because they are Out of Print now I believe.
Goblin was great. they did half a set of soundtrack stuff and half a set of their non soundtrack stuff. played about 90 minutes and felt about 20. if you can go to this somewhere go.

I try not to, but I spent too much time on reddit at work and that's all they talked out about for weeks.
I have not really played the God of War games, but I think I want to get into them. Thankfully they are cheap these days.
You can get the god of war saga that has 1-3 and the psp games for like 20 bucks now which is awesome.

Everytime ive seen matt pike live he looks more and more like death. Dude is like 40 but looks 70. First time i saw high on fire was the loudest show i have ever been to hands down. Played a small bar in cleveland and just blew the doors off. Ears were ringing for like a week.
Wish i could see one of these sleep shows but none ever come close.
-
As am I. I can't believe I'm admitting it, but I'm pretty sure I will be more excited to see Zombi again.
On another board someone said they played all of Surface to Air and more at the show they headlined in Chicago.
Thats awesome. Yeah I have not seen zombi in forever. feel they really havent played any shows.
They must be playing a long opening set if that is the case.
I saw a set for goblin from their first US tour in october and it seems like its a good spread of their stuff.

I ADAPT
Ultradolphins
Path to Misery
Brain Handle
7pm SHARP, $8/7(sorry about the $, but they're from FUCKING ICELAND and there are two other bands)
flyer soon, and hopefully a lil ol budai poster if he's still interested)
*edit, to be honest, I didnt do this show, I did an I adapt show a week earlier with modern life is war, hedges did this show in pittsburgh, I helped promote it though. they played pittsburgh twice in a span of 10 days, it was really interesting/awesome
I remember the mliw show but couldnt make it do to work. I know hedges did alot of shows at roboto. There was alot of great shows that came through there then it went into limbo.
-
first one was a show my band played booked by a friend in my hometown, free art/music all day fest. budai had prints made up.
the one you quoted is a print he made for a show that i booked with i adapt from iceland and co-promoted with another guy who was doing a show for ultra dolphin, who I dont think showed up? there werent that many made up
Thats cool. I dont remember that show at roboto. Must have been a while ago since brain handle hasnt been playing for a while now.
-
I took the photo of this print with it upside down without realizing, this is how it should look
Where did you grab the two budai posters? Havent seen those before.

fingers crossed i'll be getting Total Breakdown next week. i love the track on there with the "Six Days" sample.
