came home from work and almost all the stuff in my cart was sold out. some of it i was surprised on it, some not. wish i would have just finalized the order for daughters, naam and odin and came back today for more...

Looks like the website updated to get rid of all of the out of stock stuff. Had about $150 bucks worth of stuff in cart last night. Left it sitting so whatever is still available when i get home ill buy. Probably gonna miss out on some stuff i want but the amount ive been spending recently i should be buying zero records. Glad to see alot of you are grabbing some really awesome stuf on the cheap though.

are all of you just searching in the pop/rock section? this is alot to sift through...

Have not received mine. Havent got a shipping notification or anything either. They said it was supposed to be released the 31st of last month so hopefully soon?

Thought the same as well, my copy of cosmos was waiting at my door after work. Got the blue green mix which looks nice but thought the mix would be showing more.

thought according to relapses website the new zombi stuff wasnt coming out until 2014 but got my copy of cosmos on the blue/green in the mail today.

Just finished up Lords of Salem and the Maniac "remake" with Elijah Wood.

 

Lords of Salem was good. Definitely different than the usual Rob zombie movie. 

 

I went into Maniac with very low expectations since I like the original and was pleasantly surprised. The use of the 1st person camera angle throughout was a different touch. Was a bit over the top on the gore at times but that was clearly what they were going for. 

damn.  the grab bag prints are gone already.  i was hoping to grab a couple.

any chance of more of these coming up soon.  that is a great idea on those!

yeah shipping was base of 7.50. what a load of crap but whatever. doubt local stores will get it so it is what it is.

Went to the show in Pittsburgh on Sunday.  It was really awesome. In the beginning the mic was jacked up and they blew out 3 guitar equipment pieces and had to keep replacing them. When they hit their stride they just motored through 20+ songs.  Only 1 or 2 songs I wish they played but besides that cant complain.  It seems they are leaving it all out on the stage at each show since they are not playing again after this. The whole set was utter mayhem from the crowd, to them, to the guys they had with them just jumping on and off the stage.

 

People seemed to be super into Glass Cloud.  Never heard them before the show.

 

Birds in row were really great.  Showed up just before they went on so any band before that I have no idea how they were, though I think they were mostly locals.

4) What is your best memory seeing Converge live? This is tough to choose from.  Of the 12 or so times I have seen them I would have to say a show a few years back when they toured with Some Girls and Modern Life is War. Believe it was like 06?  It was one of those shows that every band was great and you actually wanted to show up to see all the acts and not just stroll in right before the headliner which isn't as common anymore, at least for me. It was also right when No Heroes came out so they were just ripping through that album.

So I am somewhat late to the Melvins vinyl buying game.  Through the years I purchased most Melvins releases that were available on cd and never thought to pick up the vinyl. I have been slowly picking up pieces on vinyl, but of course, doesn't come at a small price. As many of us talk about on here and have seen, if you want to pick up most melvins vinyl on boards/ebay/record stores you are going to be paying a pretty penny for most releases.

 

Is there any word on represses on any of the major releases?  The records on ipecac could be somewhat easily repressed it would seem but the older ones would probably be tougher.

 

Anyone have any word on if this is even a slight possibility or if there is something that makes it impossible?

Pentagram is playing in pittsburgh next month which is exciting. saw them a few years ago and they were pretty great. 

 

playing with a local band Carousel which just got signed to tee pee and their new record is pretty awesome.
