The Official Horror Thread
Bladewillisisdead replied to Rip's topic in Everything Else Message Board
I watched season one...it was ok. The show definitely has potential. Excited to check out the second season when it goes up on Shudder next week. -

Wow, that Alexander artwork is bad. Puzzle is bad too, but that's the same as the poster (which was also bad) so whatever. -

PO: Every Time I Die “Hot Damn”
Bladewillisisdead replied to KingTacoMunster's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
They're a legit record store. It'd be weird for them to decide to steal nearly $30,000. Especially with a ship date within the PayPal dispute window. I wouldn't worry. -
PO: Every Time I Die “Hot Damn”
Bladewillisisdead replied to KingTacoMunster's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
My shelf real estate is very valuable these days but I'm making room for having 2 copies of Hot Damn because it's that good. If it ever gets another repress I'll make room for that one too. -
I honestly don't know a whole lot about the comics. A quick Google shows that they would've had to already introduce him if he was gonna figure into Avengers 4. But who knows. I just like speculating on the business side of films. GotG is a billion dollar property, but it's looking more and more like GotG 3 is going to be a gamble more than a sure thing. Disney/Marvel know they got played by a fringe extremist group of scum. But now they're between a rock and a hard place. I don't know how much of Phase Four they've got the wheels already spinning on, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they cut their loses on more GotG. Honestly, I'd say it's 50/50 at this point.

Yeah, but my joke is that it still might not happen. The stars are unhappy (Bautista has been publicly burning bridges with Disney), preproduction has been put on hold, and a handful of directors have said they would refuse the gig if offered. I mean sure they could obviously get someone to take the job, but there's still a huge black cloud over the whole thing. I believe they are currently doing final reshoots on Avengers 4, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up killing off the guardians.

Hanging up records safely?
Bladewillisisdead replied to ¿ E X T A N T ?'s topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
This isn't what OP is looking for but I have one that I use for "new arrival" and "in rotation" records and it's dope. I can't see framed records being anything but a pain in the ass if you want to listen to them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079THJNLY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.1rOBbCT0Q6J3 -

The Official Horror Thread

It somehow might be the worst (non Vs Alien) one. It allllmost got it right tonally and there's some fun gore but so much of it just sucks. -

I need that first Misery Signals album to get repressed outside of a Kickstarter boxset. -
PO: Every Time I Die “Hot Damn”
Bladewillisisdead replied to KingTacoMunster's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I mean, maybe this will drive down the aftermarket prices of the OG copies. If this ends up being the only variant, I bet it slowly sells out (since there's no promotion). Then when it pops up on discogs and people start posting pics on IG and shit there's going to be a brief flipper bonanza. I bet at least one kid drops $100 on it -
What do people do with test presses?
Bladewillisisdead replied to ghost's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I play all of my records, even when I have multiple variants of something. It's my way of sort of justifying having them. I'm not gonna damage the test press by playing it, unless there's some freak accident as I'm handling it. Never going to sell it, so I might as well enjoy having it. -
What do people do with test presses?
Bladewillisisdead replied to ghost's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I have one test press and I've played it numerous times. It's for the only album I have a complete variant set of, so when the label put a test on eBay I was determined to win it. -
The Official Horror Thread
Bladewillisisdead replied to Rip's topic in Everything Else Message Board
Yeah, I'm stuck with their "daily selections" but they've actually been getting somewhat better. There were like 10 movies available the other day. But I've yet to be switched over to 3 a month. -

I'm somehow still on unlimited with Moviepass. I have no idea how, but I'm just gonna see as much shit as possible. -

It played for one showing at my local Regal. The local horror promoter dudes are actually bringing it back for 6 showings next week at one of the arty historic theaters. I might go again. So it's in very limited and random release. You can rent it on VOD now though. -
System of a Down Re/Pressings

The Metro is the best SOAD song. It's a god damn shame that it's only available on an ETR release -

You are correct. WHATS WRONG WITH US THAT WE'RE SO UNAMUSED This is one of those albums where I know every word. Even if I can't remember a lyric, as soon as the song starts I know it again. -

They used to have the cowbell on its own stand and Keith would bring out just for that song. It was beautiful. -

Mandy was fucking nuts. I had no idea it was by the same guy who did Beyond the Black Rainbow. I thought I was a little too stoned, but then 5 minutes in I was like "Wait...no way this isn't by the Black Rainbow dude" and realized I wasn't stoned enough. After the movie they broadcast a live Q&A hosted by Kevin Smith with Nic Cage, the director, and the guy who played the villain. Cage is a legit crazy person. -
