It bums me out to hear people are having a shitty experience with BWM. They've never been anything but awesome to me I've been ordering from Derrick since before BWM was a thing. The worst I've had happen was a couple times I ordered a bunch of stuff and they forgot one of the patches. Both times I sent an email, got a prompt apology, and had it in a couple days. I just think they put their preorders up WAY too early, so a little delay turns into a huge deal. I actually forgot I even ordered the I Kill Giants LP.

Right. Facebook is where people were commenting on a picture of the Euro Tour variant about how unfair that was and that people who preordered were ENTITLED to that color first.

You do something cool once or twice and people start to expect it from you. Like that guy who yelled at you on facebook or instagram or whatever about not getting a clear AWLWLB.

Pretty sure the clears go out randomly if there even are any. That or they'll go to the band, clear tends to be TA's band color. Again, if there even are any.

Yeah, I figured it was probably to reward F5'ers before opening the floodgates. Pretty cool, but sucks for people who don't randomly go "Oh shit, it's midnight! Better check for the TA preorder" like I did.

All preorders should go up at 12am EST. It's the only time I'm guaranteed to be at a computer. Weird that neither the nor label have mentioned this on social media.

Happiness is one of my all time favorite movies. Went and Saw both You're Next and The World's End this weekend. Was really surprised by the former and disappointed by the latter. WE wasn't BAD it just wasn't very funny. Very well made and I still love Edgar Wright's style, it just didn't do much for me. I'd heard You're Next was a lot better than it looked but I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. It's like this year's Cabin in the Woods (subtly so though). Really funny as well. Highly recommended to anyone who like horror movies.

Yessssssssss Now I just need to get a copy of Hell Songs because I'm an idiot who kept passing on it when it was easily available. I'd like a copy of Canada Songs, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get it.

They took down most of their merch because they were playing some shows over the weekend and brought that stuff with them. Chances are the tapes will pop up again. I did hear that they're doing a regular run of tapes once the initial run sells out. Like I don't have enough damn copies of this album in my apartment already.

Pirate's press posted pictures of them all at the same time a few months ago. I was wondering what was up with those other variants.

Yeah, it's also a day short of one month from release date. Combined with the fact that I'll be at work with no computer access pretty much means it'll be tomorrow.

EDIT: I'm too slow. Obviously this means I won't get a copy when they go up.

Yeah, that's why I was so hesitant to email again. I wasn't sure if my email fell through the cracks or they were just really busy. Only other problem I ever had with CYLS was my Snowing preorder never showed up and I emailed to ask if they'd ever shipped. I got a fast reply of "Yeah, they went out months ago. Confirm your address." and I had my copy within the week.

Shit, my tri-color copy was fucked up and unplayable. I emailed them about it almost two months ago and never heard back from them. I kept putting off sending another email because they were busy with mini-tours and other releases. Oh well, hopefully they get back to me and can at least hook me up with a playable 2nd pressing copy.

Just the other day I saw it was almost sold out and couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. That's why I didn't hesitate on the one they just put up. Hoping if I start digging the band I'll be able to track down one for a non-ridiculous price.

Oh I completely understand what to expect from the variant. I've gotten a bunch of Topshelf's recent splatters, so I figure it'll be similar. Besides, I'll pretty much always be 100% satisfied with anything I get from TS. I know they said they'd never do a subscription for a a lot of very valid reasons, but I really wish I could just front them a few hundred bucks once a year.

Well, the thought of quality post/math-rock gets me pretty stoked so it sounds like I've made a good decision. I just couldn't pass up Purple splatter. Purple is 2nd only to pink when it comes to best vinyl colors.
