  1. I felt they would do this after how great Menomena was. I'll give it a try though.
  2. I love John Ralston. He's one of those "why isn't he huge?" kind of artists that frustrate the living hell out of me. Met him back in 07-08 and he was incredibly nice. I still got the Cats 7inch he sold me. Reallllllly cool purchase. I need to buy his other stuff. Thanks for posting this.
  3. They do sell their shirts and albums. So I guess not?
  4. Which is fine. Even though I bought Go from a HT store in 2013 and had friends who bought MCS shirts there back in the day. But she thought I was looking for a soundtrack to something. That's pretty much it. Heck when I bought Daisy there last December, another person ringing me up commented on how they had never heard of "Brand New Daisy". This doesn't exactly surprise me.
  5. I know riiiiiiight. Cause MCS is so obscure, like not a band a hot topic employee would of ever heard of. Can you believe she thought I meant some rando movie soundtrack. And then she looked it up and said it wasn't in the system so they won't ever get it, like gee golly. I like how you just randomly assume I'm being a snob, and it wasn't just a simple misunderstanding. Also it actually wasn't online last week after a day or two, so like Travis said in another thread it would be back. Well, it's back for anybody who cares.
  6. So did I Am The Movie. My Hot Topic didn't have it last week (thurs) and seemed to be confused what a motion city soundtrack was.
  7. I listened to the demos and they're rough (his voice goes in and out) but good. The finished record is miles better but I do like the cover at the end.
  8. Mine seems to be fine, but I haven't played C/D or really looked at it thoroughly. Cool as shit packaging though. Mine sings like a greeting card.
  9. Yeah I just got my HT variant and it's pretty much a buttered popcorn colored variant, not cream at all. Also there's distortion around the start of "Holly Hox Forget Me Nots" and gets worse. Just like the Enema pressing I got from them earlier this year. Kind of bummed to be honest.
  10. No, his lyrics got super redundant and boring. He has flashes of interesting stuff, but for the most part it's all kind of simplistic.
  11. Chris' writing just got so ordinary after In Reverie. Did he get writer's block or something?
  12. Well I skipped Persona and Picnic. Went with On The Waterfront and Fanny and Alexander. That's all for me until November.
  13. I ended up getting On The Waterfront for 15 dollars. Not bad, not bad. Might go back for It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. I think I will try Broadcast News before Hanging At Picnic Rock and Persona.
  14. I got one from UO last year and it was brown. They just restocked the ones at mine.
  15. It's an amazing song on a flawless record.
  16. The only song from YFW i've heard them play is The No Seatbelt Song. But I did go to the acoustic tour Jesse did back in 07 and he did play Moshi, Moshi.
  17. The only reason I didn't believe her is because of actually looking at what she wrote, her behavior, the "fooled ya" thing, her contradictions, her blantantly wrong info, her history of lying or catfishing, she had cancer at some point?, etc. It was textbook lying and seemed ridiculous. I felt like the more I found out, the more it just seemed not true and probably a huge hoax. It's shocking to me that people do (although very rarely) do this and it upsets me. It hurts actual victims and makes people doubt the accused even moreso. It's not like I was talking about these things in general.... which is how every body seemed to react to.
