It seems like you have to send 2-3 emails before you get something that isn’t copy-pasted. Has anyone ever contacted them over damaged sleeves and have anything come out of it out of curiosity? I don’t mind seam splits or corner dings but a few variants came a little busted up.

I used to love Ryan’s music, and still do in a way, it’s just harder to separate his art from him when most of his art is him begging for sympathy. I think that’s my problem with the new album. “I’m Sorry And I Love You” would be a textbook Ryan song that isn’t half bad but after everything that surfaced, it’s impossible to take a song with lyrics like that seriously. Even if everything in “Birmingham” about Isbell is true, I don’t think it’s really the time to be casting blame on others who had entirely different mental struggles. He’ll never garner anywhere near the support he had before but I think a lot of people, me included, would be willing to listen with more of an open mind if he had put out a clear, sincere apology and actually owned up to the shit he’s done. To me this is an attempt to just gain more sympathy. To release an album without making a statement on everything that’s happened regarding him over the last few years seems like he’s just trying to sweep it under the rug.

At least they didn't bundle the digital version with the vinyl this time making it impossible to get a full refund if they do end up releasing more.

The CD and cassette uses the same terminology and I'm not sure if that makes more variants more or less likely

That's smart, I know I'll end up buying them all regardless but I'm trying to make the shipping hurt less this go around.

Now I'm not sure if I bite on the green or hold out for additional variants. The shipping is killer when she adds them day by day.

I wonder if they're planning on continuing on the Marvel soundtracks. It's been over half a year since they announced the Avengers set.

That’s so fucked up, I just sent a follow-up email since I’m in the same boat. I don’t get how they put them back up for sale without shipping all the original orders.
