I'm gonna go with totally uninterested. UO might pick these up, but if I had to guess I'd say they made these already. They're impractical to anyone with more than a small amount of records. One 4x4 Kallax is way less work and way more storage for both small and large record collection holders. I guess the benefit is you can use the wall space as storage but I'd always be worrying it would fall. EDIT: I like the idea of wall storage, let me make that clear. There's just much more benefit of dedicating a wall to storage rather than using your storage as a sparse decoration. I'd love to put a 2x8 on my wall but I've never wanted to figure out the logistics or think of the final price, when I can just simply buy a standard shelf.
