Just got my copy in today. Everything is gorgeous. Had no clue about side D. When I pulled out the records to look at the color (which I still can't get over), I saw the uninterrupted groove and figured it must be the title track. Was very surprised when I figured out it was a reverse-playing bonus song. Very cool.

Dude, that is gorgeous. Normally not a huge fan of that color but it goes so well with all the art. I would almost be tempted to pick up one of those if I could get it to the US for a decent price.

Alternatively, does anybody know anything about these? I didn't know they existed til 3 minutes ago. I've been looking at getting some B1s for a while, but these look interesting. Could solve my receiver problem. Thoughts? Snark?

I've heard that newer Sherwood stuff is Chinese-made and significantly less reliable. Anything I should be worried about there?

Holy hell. I was pretty bummed about sleeping on the green/purple and missing out, but I think I might love that even more.

Just came into more spending money than I usually have, and it's high time for me to replace my embarrassingly piss-poor current receiver. I am, however, still very much in the budget stage. As in, $200 max, better would be ~$100. I just need this receiver to last me a year or two until I can afford a high quality one. I'm currently running an Audio Technica LP60 (don't worry, it's next on the list to be replaced), so I just need something that won't degrade the audio quality coming from that. My current frontrunner is the Sherwood RX-4109 which I could pick up for about $85 new or $60 used right now. I've heard decent things about it, but I'm willing to be dissuaded if anyone can suggest a stronger suitor in my range. Or if anybody has experience with that model and thinks it'll do the job for me, that works too. Thanks.

Ugh, the more I listen to this album the more I'm dying to hear it on vinyl. Held off because of all the bad reports and just downloaded lossless from Bandcamp. Really, really hoping they do a proper second pressing, though.

I swear, MerchNow has the worst looking vinyl mockups. Stoked they're pressing this on vinyl, though. Max and Sherri both seem to be pretty big fans of vinyl, but it's been kinda hard to gauge how major of a release they're making this.

I was on the fence about ordering because white is probably my least favorite variant and I already have Waves on white and will have New Light on white when I get around to getting it. But I sucked it up and ordered from Amazon a few days ago. However, I saw on Dead Format that they're listing another "TBA" pressing... does anybody know if this is a glitch or are they doing another pressing/variant already?

Got this from Amazon today after going out on a limb not knowing which variant they'd have. I got purple, which actually turned out to be a way nicer purple than I expected, so it looks like Amazon might have pot luck of all three.
