I had a feeling some people might be bummed. Hopefully people realize that i'm not doing this to make a killing. i just thought it would be cool to do something like this for people who remembered the original slipcase. was not trying to offend anyone at all.

so...yes, this is 100% real and it'll be out on September 25th. I'm sure amazon will put their pre order back up and Banquet needs to edit their release date/info. For now you can go here to be notified when we launch pre orders: http://smarturl.it/movmoupneuma

We'll have this in both the US and UK stores and we'll be posting more info about this soon.

Got mine today. Spun the 7" and first 10". Both sounded great. The box is nice and glossy, only wish the booklet and sleeves were thicker. Otherwise it was totally worth the wait.

My Foo prints from AUS came already. Shit that was fast.

    Per the site:
Print Type: 250 gsm matte sandstone archival
    Designer: Rhys Cooper

    5 colour silkscreen poster.
    on heavy 250gsm paper stock
    printed with INSANE metallic inks.
    Edition of 300
    12x36"
    Signed / Numbered

The pictures don't do the metallic inks justice. When they say insane, they mean insane. These are very nice quality prints, for a great price. Too bad they are going to be expensive to frame, but so worth it.

What really pushed me to get the deluxe edition is that I know mwY doesn't fuck around with vinyl releases. This is going to be spectacular and I'm willing to pay appropriately to be a part of it.

The markup in price from $15-$18 is solely because this is an incredibly expensive release to produce. The standard LP has tip-on jackets, 16pg booklet, diecut insert, etc. In fact, these SHOULD be more than $18 and we talked about making them $20 at length and decided against it. Obviously the deluxe costs significantly more to make as its even more intricate.

Used to post on this board quite a while ago but have long since forgotten my username and my password.  Figured at least this time I won’t forget the username.

Anyway, this release and this band interest me a lot and I've seen a lot of people wondering about pressing info and discussing all the different variants etc so here’s the best info I can gather as of 13-17 hours after the US/UK releases first went up for sale (as I write this it's currently early-afternoon, 5/5/15; hopefully this won't take too long).  [EDIT: IT TOOK A REALLY LONG TIME.  Now that I've actually written this I'm kinda sick at myself for how much time I spent on this...time flies when you're researching and compiling record pressing stats and other such information on the internet, amirite?]

Clear with cherry cola colour in colour and black splatter 12" LP; Pressing: 200 Black 12" LP; Pressing: 500 CD; Pressing: Unknown
    4. U.K. (Pt. 2 - Banquet Records & confusion)
    For sale here.
    General info:
Two U.K. LP color variants not sold on the BSM site.  Also, a CD that is potentially different than the one on the BSM site and may be put out by Banquet Records, BSM, Run For Cover Records or some mix of the three labels.  Unclear whether the CD is any different than the other CD sold in the UK by BSM.  All non-deluxe.  All include a U.K./EU bonus track. (Bonus track appears on the US deluxe editions but not the US non-deluxe pressings.)  Potentially unique U.K. CD pressing currently unknown; may not have a specified amount made.  Banquet Records also sells a "Bone W/Aqua" LP variant but gives no pressing info for the LP - "Bone w/ Aqua Splatter" is the most commonly pressed variant of the LP and is sold by Run For Cover Records in the U.S., so I don't know if that version is any different from the Run For Cover Records version in the U.S. or not.  I want to say it's at least slightly different because the tracklisting on the side of the page includes a 12th track labeled UK/EU exclusive, but then the same page says "Label: Run For Cover / Big Scary Monsters."  They sell three versions of the release on their site and I have no idea which it's referring to...or what it even means.  Possibly that "/" symbolizes a collaboration between the two record companies to make a different U.K. release separate from the U.S. release?  Or maybe it means that one or more of the releases is strictly a BSM or Run For Cover release?  I'm also not sure why they don't mention themselves next to "Label:" - i.e. Banquet Records - since both their description and the BSM site say Banquet Records has at least one exclusive U.K. variant.  This is what I meant by confusion.  Also, I am realizing how irrelevant this is becoming.  Ugh.  I started off nicely at least.  Total  U.K. LPs released by Banquet Records: 300 + ???
Clear with blue & purple splatter (Banquet Records U.K. exclusive - also comes with an mp3 code) 12" LP; Pressing: 300 Bone W/Aqua (No pressing info, confusion about this release noted in above paragraph) 12" LP; Pressing: ??? CD (Potentially identical to the copy sold by BSM and therefore irrelevant; it could be different, I guess.) Pressing: Unknown/Potentially same as CD sold by BSM
    Total U.K./EU pressing of LPs only: 1,000 + ???
Total U.K/EU LP color variants of Pale Horses: Either 3 or 4 (Fuck you, "Bone W/Aqua")
Total U.K./EU versions of Pale Horses: Either 4, 5 or 6 (Fuck you, "Bone W/Aqua" and vague U.K. CD or UK CDs plural)
    ----------------
Total WORLDWIDE pressing of LPs only: 11,000 + ???
Total WORLDWIDE LP color variants of Pale Horses: Either 9 or 10
Total WORLDWIDE versions of Pale Horses: Either 15, 16 or 17...that have been announced so far.

Damn the U.K. for not being clear about unimportant details regarding far-off releases from an American band.  I thought I'd do like 10-20 minutes of research max and have all the answers and make a nice, informative rundown on this album's release.  Then you gotta go and do this, and now look at the monstrous uncertainty in my final numbers.  Unforgivable.

No, but really, everyone else who is a variant collector or just wanted to know what the pressing info was since it wasn't super clear, I hope this helped.  This took so, so much longer than I intended it to.  I forget my login, continue to collect records but just lurk this board now and then and one day I make a comeback and it turns into this.  I think my new username sums it all up.

    POSTSCRIPT!  Fun Facts!
As of 3:58PM scratch that, this shit took too long to write and now I have to do each one over.  As of 4:27PM Eastern, 5/5/15, this is the availability of the Deluxe Edition records:
Audiophile Black: Autographed/Hand-Numbered. Available copies: 15 0 - SOLD OUT
Audiophile Black: Non-autographed.  Available copies: 1,470
Double Rainbow: Autographed/Hand-Numbered. Available copies: 0 - SOLD OUT
Double Rainbow: Non-autographed. Available copies: 954
As of 4:29PM Eastern, 5/5/15, the only U.S., non-deluxe release of Pale Horses that has sold out is the Grimace Purple A-Side / Milky Clear B-Side variant of the 12" LP.  Everything else in "section 2" of this list is currently still available.  And you can still get the Purple/Clear variant if you want to pay $42.00 (including shipping, assuming you're in the U.S.) for the T-Shirt Package Bundle that also includes that variant of the vinyl plus a shirt and a poster.  All shirt sizes still available as well.  Side note; I wonder how many of the purple variants actually sold and how many are reserved for the T-Shirt Bundle?  Not all 500 sold or else the T-Shirt Bundles wouldn't still be available...and it sold out fairly quick, right?  Maybe they only let like 50 copies of the Purple vinyl be purchased on their own before they were "Sold Out" and had to be bought through the T-Shirt Bundle instead...nahh just kidding, Run For Cover Records is seriously legit, I expect those T-Shirt Bundles to start selling out before long.  Just something I always think about when the rarest variant sells out super quick and is then only available in bundles at double, triple, quadruple the cost or more.  FYI the bundle is less than double by about 5 bucks (after shipping) so it's not as bad as it often is, plus you get a shirt that's actually not hideous and a poster of the cover art which is also not bad at all, so kudos. According to MWY's tweet late last night it doesn't seem like the CD version sold separately from the Deluxe Edition LPs is a "Deluxe Edition" CD - not sure if that means it just doesn't come with the booklet and postcards and poster etc or if it also means it lacks any extra tracks, does not contain different artwork etc...also, no clue what the cassette will come out looking like yet. As of 4:31PM Eastern, 5/5/15, all U.K. variants and versions appear to still be in stock from both BSM and Banquet Records. Speaking of which, this info might be useful to some: I bought the Clear with cherry cola colour in colour and black splatter UK variant of the record as well, limited to 200 copies; the record alone costs £14.99 GBP and they have a flat shipping rate of £6.00 to the U.S. so the total was £20.99 - I paid using PayPal and after the currency conversion and the fees PayPal tacks on for international transactions (about a dollar in this case) the total came to $32.71 USD, shipped from the U.K. to the U.S.  The other UK variant(s?) for sale on the Banquet Records site have the same item cost but their shipping, at least for a single LP, is a £7.00 to the US instead of £6.00...but I didn't get anything from them and only got as far as changing my location to "Rest of the world" without filling anything else in before giving up, so the price could have gotten higher later in the checkout as is often the case...you guys can figure that one out for yourselves.
Unrelated, but these guys are incredibly passionate live and very much worth going to see if you haven't already,  Then again it's been 9 years since I've seen them, but if they play even half the show they did then, it's worth seeing.
Welp, there was an afternoon at work well spent.  Happy Cinco de Mayo.  Time for a margarita or 11,000+...

I remember when their first LP came out and thinking it was alright. I knew they got big for awhile in certain scene but guess I haven't kept up with that stuff in like 10 years.

I snapped a few pics before playing some Puscifer this morning. The TT sits in a 4x2 Kallax unit. Yes, I have 2 units stacked on top of one another. A2x2is stacked (and secured) on top on the 4x2.
I left the divider out on the top shelf area. I then cut a piece of black laminated MDF to the same size as the Ikea shelf. Then all I needed was a couple "soft close" drawer glides. I painted them black, then screwed the drawer glides to the new shelf and to the Ikea shelf. Its nice if you want to keep the dustcover on. You slide the shelf out, lift the cover and place LP,then just pop the cover back down and slide it back in.
I also added some leds as well. They really help tonsee if the LP is dirty etc. They lights are RGB, so they can be switched to any color. Great for holidays lol. I just leave it on white usually.
