  1. Just got a random package from No Sleep today which included what must have been my last shipment from my 2015 subscription. This reminded me that I was looking to get rid of a few things from it. I've never sold through VC but stalk the boards and would much rather sell to fans. Feel free to message me with offers or questions! All LPs are Coke Bottle Swirl /100 unless otherwise noted! The Wonder Years -- The Upsides Deluxe Edition -- 2LP on clear with splatter (opened just to verify variant, unplayed) Hundreth -- Resist/Revolt 2LP (unopened) Ghost Key -- The Things I Am Not (unplayed) Seasons Change -- Please Don't Leave (unplayed) WSTR -- SKRWD (unopened) Puig Destroyer S/T -- RSD 2015 exclusive, white w/ red splatter (unopened)
  2. Long story short I was given this turntable as a gift in June and didn't even want to look at it by July. I spun it maybe once or twice so it's in excellent condition and I still have all related materials, box, and even the U-Turn sticker. It is the deluxe model which comes with an upgraded stylus and acryllic platter. Make me an offer / message for photos or more info.
  3. Received this today as a part of my No Sleep subscription and would like to see it go to a good home as I'm just not into the band, baseball, or much grindcore in general. I'd prefer a trade if anyone has anything leftover from RSD (I missed out on the Pity Sex 7", Pianos Become the Teeth 7", J Dilla) or wants to make an offer, it's available. Note: This isn't on the coke bottle swirl like other subscription items. It is the white with red splatter, /700.
  4. Mine is just blue as well! I was never able to get into them before, but I've not stopped listening to this record since I got it Friday. This is a really great progression in sound for them, in my opinion. The vocal harmonies remind me a great deal of The Cranberries. Run For Cover is killing the game.
  5. There is, but unfortunately I don't have headphones with a studio jack to test it. Will ask a friend and try that! Also, yes, it's a phono receiver so no need for a pre-amp.
  6. The speakers are plugged into A and the A button is on. Will post some photos now!
  7. I have been buying and rebuying equipment trying to get a set up working and thought today would be the day, but I'm still not getting sound out of my system. I am running a Technics SL-DD33 turntable, a Sherwood RX-4109 receiver, and two Boston Acoustics CR4 speakers. Both the receiver and speakers have banana plug inputs, so I bought two sets of Sewell Silverback cables to tie it all together. Everything seemed to be set up correctly, but like I said...no sound, not even noise out of the speakers. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated!
  8. I was given a 2015 subscription for Christmas and am pretty stoked given how much money I spent at No Sleep last year. Hoping for some good surprises!
  9. I've tried and failed to get into this band numerous times before, but I love this song and am eagerly anticipating the full length. I also got shipping confirmation. Betting I get it before either of the 3EB LPs I ordered.
  10. Went to RPM in Columbus when they opened at 7am this morning and was pleased to find no line, free donuts, and the two things I wanted. I scored Pax Am Days and The Replacements. My buddy grabbed the Charles Bradley 7". The Flaming Lips/Tame Impala splits looked incredible, but not at ten bucks a song. Plenty of Failure copies available, which I was surprised by. Might pop in after work to see if there's still one there.
  11. There's a switch inside that says "Set the EQ amp on/off switch according to amplifier connection" -- should I switch it to on or off?
  12. It's a Sony PS-LX250H. There's a switch inside that says "Set the EQ amp on/off switch according to amplifier connection" -- should I switch it to on or off? And I tried other imputs as well. Thank you for replying!
  13. First time poster figuring this was the best place to go. Don't let me down, VC. I have lots of vinyl and I enjoy listening to it. I'm no gear head nor am I all that savvy with the gear I have. A few weeks ago, I was playing a record when all of a sudden the sound decreased dramatically. The sound itself was clear, so I don't think my speakers blew. A work friend told me that the phono preamp on my turntable might have gone, so I purchased a preamp. Upon hooking it up what I'm sure is the correct way (turntable plugged into preamp imput, RCA cable going from preamp output to AUX imput on my receiver, turntable switched to AUX on), the sound is still at 25% and now also sounds really distorted and shitty. I am running a pretty standard Sony turntable, Pyle preamp, and Pioneer receiver. All used with nary a grounding wire in sight. Please help.
