  1. Enter the world of advertising... 4 jobs/companies, 0 tests. Only 1 time was it ever mentioned, but never followed through on. Architecture jobs also do not require drug tests.
  2. and after this week, we really need some amy winehouse rehab haha and there are a few beer gardens around brooklyn. one near greenpoint/williamsburg that has a rooftop drinking area and others that have quality craft beers on tap (hmmm Mother's Milk). Also lots of the office buildings around manhatten have plazas with seats to rest if you guys are walking everywhere.
  3. also for shopping... Century 21 is a good store to hit up. Cheap prices but they have designer stuff. The one downtown is eh but the one in Bay Ridge (if your willing to travel so far south in brooklyn) is FANTASTIC.
  4. You can't even walk your dog down broadway there lol But Soho does have the sexiest buildings in nyc; Old iron cast storefronts. So try to go when its mostly empty (weekdays while people are at work and before 11am.) and if you guys get bored, head to my favorite guilty pleasure, Zombie Hut...very very boozy rum drinks in mason jars and free goldfish crackers lol. Also you and your gf can share a giant Frozen Zombie Bowl (like 3 types of rum mixed with a fruity frozen mixture).
  5. The Cloisters is fantastic! Also I am going to add the MET to the list of museums due to the fact that its free. While I hate the crowds in Williamsburg, they have fantastic bars (barcade, Radegast Hall, The Charleston,) and no one can turn down the power of Criff Dogs. Also...no one mentioned Generation Records
  6. play this till D3 comes out in a few months... http://modsbylaz.hugelaser.com/ HIGHLY recommended mod for diablo 2
  7. Go up the empire state building and then hit up the NY Public Library at Byrant Park. They are super dork tourist spots but well worth it (especially the views of the ESB). For bars, go to brooklyn. Cheaper and more atmosphere than "the city". Unless you go to Corner Bistro near 14th Street and 8th ave for 2 dollar half pints of McSorley's ale and some of the greatest burgers ever.
  8. Keep the benefits. Then learn a skill you can do on weekends to get some extra cash. (computer repairs, painting, floor construction, etc.) Or learn to build furniture for holding records and sell it via VC lol
  9. it gets epic when you start putting little marshmallow bits in hot cocoa.
  10. Oh yeah i forgot about to include that info. It is the No Idea version.
  11. This will be my first time selling on the VC board; not much to say except i have a few doubles that found its way into my collection and it would be best to sell them to someone that wants them or needs them to complete collections. Hot Water Music- Tomorrow Split 7th press black (2 available) Hot Water Music- Fuel for the Hate Game. 13th press. Pale Green /75 Hot Water Music- Alachua. 2nd press black (no idea version) Chuck Ragan- the grove 7inch (Grey) Small Brown Bike/Cursive split (un-numbered version) I also have a sealed copy of gaslight's 59 sound on white. I think I am going to ebay that one. But if someone makes a good enough offer, I'll let it go to them (not trying to get a lot of cash for it, but don't want to walk away feeling like i could have gotten more).
  12. polish thanksgiving: Gołąbki- stuffed cabbage Bigos- "cabbage stew with bacon, sausages and other meat" Roasted Turkey Kiełbasa Pierogi with potato/cheese filling Ham mashed potatoes cranberry/pear pie (not polish...stolen from Alton Brown lol) chrusciki- "dough baked and covered in powdered sugar" mak- "poppy seed roll"
