Nice that's what I'm getting on Thursday. Already received Testament The Legacy on green and Loudness Thunder In The East on red and Jane's Addiction Nothing's Shocking on clear. Now if I'm still interested(money) I'm gonna go for Heavy Metal Soundtrack, Skid Row and Ace Frehley on blue...

Let me know how that Jane's Addiction pressing is! Was close to pulling the trigger on it.

Is it possible that the clear variant and the coke bottle version are the same?

Stores like this have marked it as 'clear vinyl' but have in their description that it's the coke bottle one http://theendofallmusic.bigcartel.com/product/the-war-on-drugs-a-deeper-understanding-lp-preorder

In the description, it does say "Coke-Bottle Clear" so I am sure it is the same variant as everywhere else. As far as I can tell, this version and black are the only 2 versions when it launches.

For anyone who ordered the Carpenter Brut LPs off Amazon.de - they were listed as including autorip when I pre-ordered to download digital copies, however now I can't figure out how to DL them for the life of me?  My Amazon Music account is already synched up as a US account so anyone have any tips here?

If you bought off Amazon, you go to My Music and the player will open. On the left side go to "Purchased Songs", then you can checkbox select the songs you want and  click the download button which is in the white area in top right corner above songs. If the songs are not there then it was probably not an autorip album. If this is confusing I can take a screenshot. I bought the Trilogy 3xLP off here and I do not have any MP3's of it myself.

I thought it was kind of "meh" after my first listen. Definitely some stand out tracks, but as a whole, I'd say it's average. I need more time with it. The album will likely grow on me. But nothing on there really shook me like Futureworld, Brokendate, VHS sex, and the other solid tracks from GM. I think the new album is better than ID, but not as solid throughout as GM or Cyanide Sis.

Those are just my initial impressions. I look forward to spending much more time with the album. The pressing from Ghostly looks high quality. Nice package overall, haven't listened to the LPs yet though.

About the same feeling for me as well. The back side has several less intense songs that as I listened forgot all about. Iteration is great closer song though. Out of the 12 songs I was happy with about 6 or 7, which is pretty good. The songs range from GM all the way through so not a steady style. The packaging and quality is very good though.

Yeah no thanks. I mean, I might regret it later, but none of their releases so far screamed "premium", and $57 shipped for a 150g 2xLP of tracks I don't know is too rich for my blood.

Shockingly, the $40 is not the issue for me. The issue is they offer a limited, one time red version and only ONE song has been released. That is the definition of a grab. If all the songs were available to listen on bandcamp, and I like 75% of them, I might possibly bite...but 1 song? Not taking that much of a gamble. I will get a black for $30 later.

Assuming The Midnight is on black wax?

Yeah, I believe all were pressed black.

I just got Trilogy 3xLP for 30 Euros including shipping aka 35 USD. That is almost 30-50 dollars cheaper than it was last time on sale. Nice find, thanks!
