It sounds considerably differrent, in my opinion. Deeper vocals, for one. All positive differences, without degrading the album versions. Worth the $13, definitely.

Possible EARTH represses?
ALossFourWords replied to Greystash's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I was so terribly exhausted from work on friday that i was having trouble keeping myself upright. I was leaning against the rail in front of the speakers, stage left. Was a great show, wish i had caught a second wind, though. Not a huge earth fan in all honesty, just have a solid appreciation for what they have done. I am happy to have gotten the chance to see them. I dont make it to many shows these days. Will likely get a copy of hex when i get a chance.- 161 replies

Portland is a small place. Gybe slayed. Earth could have played louder. Which one of you was wearing the Sunn shirt?- 161 replies

Christian "Metal" shouldn't be anyway. They need to stop appropriating subcultures for their nonsense. Go ahead and let them sign it, and in turn stop listening to it. Thank me later. Edit: Really not trying to stir shit up so early in my forum 'career', this person just seems misguided in several realms. Apologies.

There is some, but it is not distracting... enjoyable even, for me at least. So glad they re-released this record. The discussion on this forum was enough to make me sign up for an account. Just purchased a grey copy here in PDX and I couldn't be happier to hear it through my record rig. Thanks for posting the interview with O'Malley, too.
