I got the same canned response and told them it’s shitty customer service to have an issue like this and make your customers do the leg work to find out why.

    The Third Man Records Thread

it'd be cool if we'd ever get that black version of GBMS they said would be out after last RSD.
  10. polyvinyl has included airheads in their mail orders for years
  11. got my clear yesterday. it sounds great and the package is top notch. grape airhead too btw...
  12. Yeah, I wrote them last night. We'll see what they have to say.
  13. We got ours in the mail. Preordered first day and didn't get sent the color vinyl preorder Package looks great though!
  14. The increasingly sordid tale of my dealings with Third Man Records' Vault customer service. I ordered the last Vault package with the fancy new Dead Weather album. When I signed up, I noticed that they had an old shipping address for me and I changed it on their site. A few months passed and I got a notice to check my shipping address again. "Hmm, it looks like my address change never took. I'll change it again." A few days later, I get a shipping notice. Yay! New Dead Weather on the way! <sad trumpet> The address change didn't take and the box never showed up at my old office, so I wrote TMR to see what they could do. "Sure, we can ship you a new package but it'll cost you $5 extra because you didn't contact us to change your address..." "What's the point of a webform if you can't change your address?" I thought, but it's five bucks and I want my record, so yeah, whatever. Shipment two arrives to the correct address. Yay! Wait a second, this is the retail version of the new Dead Weather with a deck of the playing cards from this Vault package. Another email to their customer service... "Does the cover have flames on the eyes? I think you just need to look inside the sleeve for the 7"" So I sent them a picture of what I received and they said they'd ship me another package! It should arrive today. It's currently out for delivery in the wrong zip code. I think they shipped it to the wrong address that started this whole debacle despite confirming that they would ship it to the correct address. To be continued...
