We currently have what we believe is a rare sales sampler for the album "El Pea" from Island Records. It comes in a box that includes 2 'sales file brochures'. In each brochure, there is a bunch of artist information, album information, and rush information about Island Records and the thought process behind creating this LP. The LP's themselves do not have the normal "El Pea" labels. They are blank labels with PJ 1 A, PJ 1 B, PJ 2 A, and PJ 2 B written on each side. The matrix of each side matches what is written on the label. Included in some of the album information is a list of songs. All the songs match the final release except for the Nick Drake song where Northern Sky is instead listed as One of These Things First. We have no idea what actual songs may be on these LPs as we haven't played them. This seems like a very rare item that would be cool for any collection. Some names include Alice Cooper, Free, Tramp, Gun, Stephen Stills, Bulldog Breed, etc. Most of these are in near mint condition and some are even still sealed from the original collector who owned a record store in LA.
