  1. Sticker says Nashville, TN. They stuck the Switzerland sticker over that. They're being really difficult about refunding me the money the discount code should have saved. May have to go the credit card company.
  2. Well I won't be using Popmarket again. I got an email receipt with the 15% discount taken off, but they charged me the full amount. Then, even though the price had been quoted in £ and I'd been charged in £, they put the values of the records in $ on the customs form. The exchange rate between the $ price and the £ one was 2 dollars to one pound, an exchange rate only seen once in the last decade, briefly at the end of 2007. This increased the import duty I had to pay by 20%. I fully expected to pay some, but not that much. Let's see how they respond to the complaint.
  3. There are stores in the UK, one not far from me, but I doubt they have the exclusives there. I suspect they won't even sell vinyl instore. Email sent to find out. The European webstore has less than 10% of the vinyl the US one has.
  4. I got that to. I have found Banquet often promise more releases than they deliver, but it's always worth a try.
  5. Does anyone know anything about the white variant of this? http://www.discogs.com/Volcano-Choir-Repave/release/5115361 I missed out on the blue, but I found a reasonably priced copy of the clear in the UK. What I've received doesn't have the hype sticker and has the barcode (according to discogs) of either the white or black version. Before anyone asks what's wrong with black, I already have it, but would probably move it on if I got the clear.
  6. In the UK, the default shipping option (the so-called standard option) was by far the most expensive. There were other options available that were much cheaper. Probably trying the same trick elsewhere.
  7. I've read a few UK lists to be thorough about all releases, and I haven't seen this on any of them. It's on the US one, though. I see that HoneyFrosted, jaedong, axisrecapital, dreamover and plarocks are looking for some UK stuff. I'll send some PMs. I would like the Pacific North West green pressing of Ultimate Alternative Wavers if there's anyone able to help, but I don't think I'm the first to ask for that one. If anyone else is looking for UK stuff, let me know. There's a few stores around me participating. Unfortunately my nearest only seems to pay lip service to vinyl. All they've had that interests me since I moved here was one copy of the new Beck record and two vastly overpriced copies of Zaireeka. The others are a much better bet I think.
  8. Ah - I was only looked at the CM distro release. I have seen the Noisepollution reference at GoHastings now. I doubt it was the Swedish only release though. I tried to get the Swedish only version of Wolverine Blues and I only found it in one Swedish store whose webstore wouldn't let me place the order after I had tried for a couple of hours to get it to work.
  9. Rather Be Dead and New Noise Theology were RSD 2012 releases. According to Discogs, This Just Might Be The Truth hasn't ever been repressed until now.
  10. They're selling copies of this at Kings Road EU/UK. They're pictured as orange, but they're actually black.
  11. MOV replaced my faulty copy last month but wouldn't pay the postage to send it to them. The impression they gave was that the were replacing them grudgingly and would prefer them to be returned to the shop you bought them from, but they did still replace it.
  12. RT's first come first served excuse is rubbish. Mine came this morning.
  13. Mine should get cancelled then. It was placed 4 hours after yours.
  14. I haven't had that email, and RT don't seem to send out dispatch notices, so perhaps I will get it. Do you know what your order date was? Might still be able to see it on the RT site.
  15. I pre-ordered mine at the end of November. I'm waiting for the 1st EP 12" and Cassette demos 7" as well. I has those two on order from a US store which I cancelled. I can wait. I'm not expecting to get them, but I want the satisfaction of them having to cancel it, not me.
  16. Now you've posted that, I don't suspect they'll be available much longer! Thanks for letting me know about them, but I don't want it enough to pay nearly $80 for it as I live in the UK. I also realise that I should put my location on my profile so people know that. Edit: The purple smoked vinyl in the Guest Room Records store looks lovely. 17. I just asked RT again what's happening - I do it about once a month. Perhaps they have vastly oversold them and are waiting for people to lose patience and cancel their orders until they can fulfil the ones left. Well I'm game. We'll see who rusts first.
  18. Did anyone else order these from Rough Trade in the UK? It appears they are as elusive as the Tame Impala split (which I am still waiting for as well).
  19. Insound are doing a War On drugs 4xLP bundle and 7" including this record for $60.74. Doesn't say what's on the 7" though.
  20. For anyone going to see them live, the red Origins was cheaper at the gig than by mail order, but not by much. Those that PMd me - I will get back to you as soon as I can - hopefully in the next couple of hours. Edit: I meant to say that there are 1000 of the blue All Is Violent pressing. Also, if any of the buyers (or anyone else I guess) want's me to prove I've got them, I'll post a pic of my copy with a random household object suggested on this thread.
