i do! missing a couple tests, but have everything from the normal pressings.

it's 2020 and i'm less than 20 pieces away from having everything that's ever been publicly available. please help me put this goddamn collection to rest. i'm so close i can't even begin to explain how much i want this to end.

crossed off one of the Dead Ending variants. surely somebody has one of these Goddamnits, or a Maybe I'll Catch Fire...? or one of the Skibas... please i hate collecting this band already just let me be done with it

i've really been going hard at getting these this year. knocked off 3 more in the last couple weeks. have leads on a couple more that should be incoming shortly. any and all help is appreciated. i'm into trades if you still want to have copies of these records in your collection, but i'm cool with buying outright, too!

they all have this cover: so i think yes? but i'm not sure if only the very first pressing with this style cover is considered the "redux" version, but then once they had John Golden re-master it, if those versions are considered something else? idk. i hate collecting this release. it's my favorite record of all time, but collecting it and keeping all of the information straight has been a [goddamn] nightmare.

sorry, i'm just now seeing this! yeah, that one went pretty quickly. anything Good Mourning is usually pretty tough to find and/or pricey, even with the multiple represses. same with Crimson. those two are strange to me. as much as i would love this, i wouldn't be holding my breath. i've heard from a very, very reliable source that Heavens is a thing of the past, and there will never be anything more from that band. what's out there is what's out there. i'm always adding new stuff to this photo album, so if you're interested in trio or their related bands, add me on facebook (and shoot me a message so i know you're from VC!!) so you get updates when new records or posters or shirts or whatever get added. as you can tell, i don't really post on VC too much anymore. and while i don't really post on fb too much, either, i'm on it every day and fb messenger is always a super quick way to get a hold of me.

if you can see a picture in the album, that means it's still available. once something is paid for, i remove the picture from the album. TONS of great stuff is left. buy something so i can afford to go on tour in march <3

i hate that discogs doesn't have a search function within an individual seller's store (if there is one, i've never been able to find it on the mobile app). if a seller has less than 200 records i'll usually just look through them all, but any more than that, and i basically only look at "things in my want list" and if there are none, i don't look at anything they have. i'm sure it's saved me a ton of money over the years, haha, but as a seller, i wouldn't like that. the Skiba guitar is pending payment. one of the copies of sundials is pending payment. the My Shame Is True Ouija Board set is pending payment. lots of other smaller records have been sold and their pictures have been removed. but still lots of good stuff... remains.

i thought this kind of thread was frowned upon, but i see people making posts just linking to their discogs page so i'm gonna do a similar thing here. i have a facebook photo album full of all sorts of records, posters, shirts, and other memorabilia that is all available for sale. every picture's caption has that item's price. there are usually extra pictures in the comments thread of each individual picture, but if there is something in particular you're curious about or would like to see, let me know. i'm posting this in a handful of places around the internet, so just message me on facebook if there's something you'd like to buy and we can figure it out from there. does anybody live in springfield (illinois) or kansas city? i got invited to the negro league baseball museum next week by the guy who runs it, and i'm trying to find places to sleep for the one night i'll be staying in each place. if you can help, hit me up. if you've never been to the negro league baseball museum, put it at the very top of your "to do" list. i was there a couple years ago and it's one of the best museums i've been to. baseball or otherwise.

also, if you're a fan of baseball or african american / civil rights history and live within driving distance of the negro league museum, it is an absolute must see. i was there a couple years ago, and it's one of the best museums i've ever been to. baseball or otherwise. incredible displays, lots of cool memorabilia, extremely well thought out and laid out. it's super cheap to get in, and is in the same building as the American Jazz Museum, so you can hit two amazing museums in one visit. here are some pictures from the NLBM:

hello people of VC, long time no see! i got invited to visit the negro league baseball museum in kansas city next week by the guy who runs it. the problem is, it's an 8 hour drive each way from chicago to kansas city, and i only have two days off to squeeze in the visit and the driving, so the schedule is going to be pretty tight. i get off work monday night between 7 and 8 pm, so i was thinking of driving part of the way monday night after work, and maybe stopping in/around Springfield, IL that night. that way, i would only have about 5 hours to drive on tuesday, which would get me into town at a much more reasonable time. if you live in Springfield, wanna let me crash at your place monday night, knowing i won't be rolling into town until probably sometime between 11 pm and midnight? i literally just need a spot on the floor to crash (i'll even bring my own pillow and blanket!), and maybe a working shower would be nice, too. but other than that, you don't need to feed me or entertain me unless you want to. i can be out of your hair as early as you need me to be on tuesday, because i'll still have 5 hours of driving left before i get to kansas city. so it would be nice to sleep a bit, but i'm fine waking up early and getting on the road if you need to get to work or something. the royals host the rays tuesday night, with first pitch at 7:15 pm. i'm definitely going to try to go to that game. then i have my meeting at the museum wednesday morning, which will be over by noon. the royals and rays play again wednesday afternoon, with first pitch at 1:15 pm. i'm thinking about maybe going to that game, too, and then driving back to chicago wednesday night to be back in time for work thursday. if you live in kansas city, wanna let me crash at your place tuesday night, knowing i won't be getting back from the game until probably sometime between 11 and midnight? if you'd want to come with me to the game (either tuesday night or wednesday afternoon), i would be happy to pay for your ticket as a thank you. tl;dr i need a place to crash in Springfield, IL on monday night. i need a place to crash in Kansas City on tuesday night. baseball and/or baseball related talk and activities will be involved.
