Well. My store didn’t even get their allotted copy of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. The owner told me that if they receive it in a later shipment, he’ll hold it for me. 
But  he did have the Malfunkshun for me. So that’s cool & snagged that. 
 
 

I'll try to snag those for you. Malfunkshun, Garbage and Team Sleep are my top priorities as well.

Well. This is my plea for help. 
 
My store is doing wristband time slots again & by the time I remembered to request, it was late and I got at 10:30am slot. What I really really really want will likely be gone if they get any.
 
So. If anyone can be on lookout and help me snag Malfunkshun and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, I’d be forever grateful.

Oof… we’re going to get douched with rain around 10 so we were optimistic our son’s tee ball would be canceled, but it’s on so I’m not going out until 11 at the earliest. Only things I want are Butcher Brown and The Verve Pipe… wish me luck!

Picked up my stash this evening.  Pretty stoked I was able to get everything I requested through the shop I consign at.  The Van Halen set, while pricey, is pretty sweet.   I may try to snag Motorhead, didn't realize it's a set from the 80's when they were rocking the 4 piece, but otherwise am tapped out. 
 
For those who are after Macho Man, apparently most shops are only getting a few copies tops.   Surprisingly, I think it's going to be one of the hardest releases to get.

Nothing here, but the original description said it would ship around end of October, so I'm not expecting anything yet. 

After listening to this one, it is at the bottom of Slipknot Catalog for me. There is was no soul or feeling in this one. Just a hurry up, do it, and get it out.

Listened to the album earlier today. It's not what I expected. Feels underwhelming and meh at best. It's almost as if it's suffering slight identity crisis. Overall, it sounds like Stone Sour doing Slipknot covers without any motivation to make something impactful. 
 

For those curious about the sound quality of this pressing, especially in light of the debate raging on Discogs, here's my take. I had the MOV pressing, which is good considering how much is crammed on one disc, but I think I would give this new one the edge. Yes, the colored vinyl has a touch more surface noise (yellow in my case), but it doesn't interfere with the music at all... I've listened to the whole thing now a couple of times with headphones, and you never hear any pops or other noise during the music itself, which is a major plus and an achievement of sorts these days. Some people don't seem to like how this is mastered, and it is pretty loud, though I wouldn't describe it as overly compressed. A little more bass would have been nice, but it's certainly present. The only part that bugs me a bit is the opening part of Them Bones... that weird "Ah!" part at the very beginning sounds just a bit off... not sure how to describe it, but in this case, my CD copy sounds a little more cohesive. Otherwise, this vinyl version is clearly more enjoyable than the CD. Instruments have just a bit more room and the treble is a tiny bit softer, and definitely holds up much better when you turn it up. Also, I've always found this album to be a bit of a slog towards the end, until you get to what I consider to be the absolute pinnacle of grunge, which is Would?. Splitting this hour-long album into fourths actually helped me stay in it more and appreciate some of the songs I didn't care for as much. The jacket is a let-down, they definitely could have done more with that.
